Household chemicals cause cancer, birth defects, wide range of health issues, WHO study admits

(NaturalNews) A new landmark study by the World Health Organization says a host of common, everyday household chemicals pose severe health problems including cancer, asthma, reduced fertility and even birth defects.

According to the study, WHO identified a number of "synthetic chemicals" which the UN agency said had "serious implications" for health, even going so far as to suggest that so-called "gender-bending" compounds found in PVC flooring, kids' toys and even credit cards should be banned in order to protect future generations, recent reports detailing the findings said.

The study said more research was likely needed to flesh out the links between endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs), which are found in a number of household chemicals, and "specific diseases and disorders."

Study Finds More Vaccines Equate to Increased Hospitalization and Death

According to a groundbreaking new study, there’s a definitive positive correlation between the number of vaccine doses administered and the percentage of hospitalizations and infant deaths. The hospitalization rate increased linearly from 11.0 percent for 2 doses to 23.5 percent for 8 doses. The mortality rate for 1-4 vaccine doses was 3.6 percent. At 5-8 vaccine doses, the mortality rate rose to 5.5 percent

Antibiotic-Resistant Bacteria from GE Experiments Found in Chinese Waterways

The first-ever study4, 5 to address GE crop-related pollution of waterways discovered that Chinese rivers are contaminated with antibiotic-resistant genes from genetic engineering experiments, which (again) may have unforeseen repercussions for human health. According to the authors:6
“Antibiotic resistance poses a significant challenge to human health and its rate continues to rise globally. While antibiotic-selectable synthetic plasmid vectors have proved invaluable tools of genetic engineering, this class of artificial recombinant DNA sequences with high expression of antibiotic resistance genes presents an unknown risk beyond the laboratory setting.
Contamination of environmental microbes with synthetic plasmid vector-sourced antibiotic resistance genes may represent a yet unrecognized source of antibiotic resistance.
In this study, PCR and real-time quantitative PCR were used to investigate the synthetic plasmid vector-originated ampicillin resistance gene, β-lactam antibiotic (blá), in microbes from six Chinese rivers with significant human interactions. Various levels of blá were detected in all six rivers... The resistance spectrum of transformants from the Pearl and Haihe rivers, in particular, had expanded to the third- and fourth-generation of cephalosporin drugs, while that of other transformants mainly involved first- and second-generation cephalosporins.
This study not only reveals environmental contamination of synthetic plasmid vector-sourced blá drug resistance genes in Chinese rivers, but also suggests that synthetic plasmid vectors may represent a source of antibiotic resistance in humans.”

Father of U.S. slavery was a black man

February has been officially designated, recognized by many and even celebrated by some as Black History Month or National African-American History Month. While it is acknowledged in some other countries (most notably Canada and the U.K.), it is primarily devoted to the achievements of African-Americans in the U.S. It will, henceforth, include the historical fact that Barack Hussein Obama became the first African-American president of the United States.
However, early American history also reveals another dramatic first involving a black American.

The Dramatic Benefits of Minimally Invasive Dentistry

  • Unnecessary drilling and filling your teeth with toxic materials can have far-reaching, long-term health ramifications. Newer alternative types of dentistry, such as minimally invasive dentistry and biomimetic dentistry offer dramatically safer and more effective solutions
  • Biomimetic dentistry offers excellent alternatives to large fillings and crowns, such as inlays, onlays and crowns made by CEREC® material. These are permanent restorations that do not need to be replaced with time like regular resin fillings and metal or porcelain crowns
  • Ozone can be used in combination with air abrasion. Ozone kills bacteria and safely changes the chemistry of the tooth and allows it to remineralize
  • Everyday dental hygiene tips include brushing without toothpaste, or using baking soda or a toothpaste containing calcium sodium phosphosilicate (an effective mineralizer, far superior to fluoride); and applying ozonated oil to your gums and between your teeth (a very effective plaque remover)

Bacteriophage therapy, the amazing cure for MRSA being ignored by mainstream medicine

(NaturalNews) It has been used as an effective treatment against bacterial infections for nearly 100 years, but the medical-industrial complex today refuses to recognize it as a valid form of medicine. And yet bacteriophage therapy, also known as phage therapy, has been shown time and time again to cure methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and various other antibiotic-resistant bacteria, which increasingly plague hospitals and healthcare facilities around the world and have no officially-recognized cure.

If you have never heard of phage therapy, it is probably because the American medical system largely abandoned it back in the 1950s and 1960s when antibiotic drugs arrived on the scene. Even though bacteriophages, which are basically viruses that infect and replicate within harmful bacteria in order to destroy them, work better than antibiotics and typically do not cause bacteria to morph and mutate, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has been largely uncooperative in approving them for general use in humans.

Benefits of Yoga—What the Research Says About its Use for Common Health Problems

  • Recent research shows people with atrial fibrillation (irregular heartbeat) can benefit from yoga.
  • Three months of regular yoga sessions resulted in a 50 percent reduction of reported incidents of heart quivering. Average heart rate also fell from 67 beats per minute to 61-62 beats per minute post-yoga. Participants also reported less anxiety and depression.
  • A review of more than 100 studies looking at the effect of yoga on mental health found evidence that yoga has a positive effect on mild depression, sleep problems, schizophrenia and ADHD.
  • A study published last year discovered that yoga has a beneficial impact on leptin, a hormone that plays a key role in regulating energy intake and energy expenditure.
  • Expert yoga practitioners had 36 percent higher leptin levels compared to novices, leading researchers to speculate that regular yoga practice may benefit your health by altering leptin production.
  • Ideally, you’ll want a comprehensive fitness program that includes aerobic, anaerobic, and resistance training as well, in addition to flexibility- and core-building exercises like yoga

'Organic' from China exposed: The shocking truth about 'organic' foods grown in the world's worst environmental cesspool

(NaturalNews) When it comes to foods, superfoods and even nutritional supplements from China, "organic" is largely a hoax. This is my opinion, of course, but I've been researching the issue quite extensively as the key decision maker for new products in the Natural News Store. And I've come to the conclusion that "organic" from China is largely a fraud. Here's why...

First off, you're going to be shocked to learn that there is no limit to how much mercury, lead, cadmium, arsenic and aluminum is allowed in "organic" products.

It's a fact: USDA organic standards place NO LIMITS on levels of heavy metals contamination of certified organic foods. Even further, there is no limit on the contamination of PCBs, BPA and other synthetic chemicals that's allowed in certified organic foods, superfoods and supplements.

At this point, you're probably shaking your head in disbelief and thinking, "No, that can't be true. Organic standards must check for heavy metals and chemical contamination, right?"

No! "Organic" certifies a process of how food is grown or produced. It certifies that the farmer doesn't add pesticides, herbicides, petroleum-based fertilizer, metals or synthetic chemicals to the crop (among other things), and it certifies that the soil must be free from such things for a certain number of years before organic certification is approved.

But organic certification does nothing to address environmental sources of pollution such as chemtrails, contaminated irrigation water, and fallout from industrial or chemical factories that might be nearby. A certified organic farmer can use polluted water on their crops and still have the crops labeled "organic."

Feds admit: Gun laws won't slow crime

A study by the Department of Justice’s research wing, the National Institute of Justice, has the feds admitting that so-called “assault weapons” are not a major contributor to gun crime.
The study also concluded those weapons are not a major factor in deaths caused by firearms, nor would an “assault weapons” ban be effective.
“The existing stock of assault weapons is large, undercutting the effectiveness of bans with exemptions,” it said. “Therefore a complete elimination of assault weapons would not have a large impact on gun homicides.”
The report finds no significant link between “assault weapons” and murders.
“Since assault weapons are not a major contributor to U.S. gun homicides and the existing stock of guns is large, an assault weapon ban is unlikely to have an impact on gun violence,” the report said.
The document, titled “Summary of Select Firearm Violence Prevention Strategies,” also sees no epidemic of mass shootings.
“Fatalities from mass shootings (those with 4 or more victims in a particular place and time) account on average for 35 fatalities per year,” the report said.
The report advises a more comprehensive approach.

U.S. ranks first in healthcare spending but last in life expectancy

(NaturalNews) If you think pharmaceutical drugs, vaccines, and various other instruments of modern Western medicine are responsible for improving quality of life and increasing the average lifespan in America, think again. A report recently issued by the National Research Council (NRC) and the Institute of Medicine (IOM) reveals that the U.S. spends up to 250 percent more on healthcare than most other developed nations, and yet has the lowest life expectancy rate among all these same nations.

Entitled U.S. Health in International Perspectives: Shorter Lives, Poorer Health, the report compares the latest available data on mortality and health outcomes in the United States with that of 16 other so-called "peer" nations, including Japan, Switzerland, Australia, and Canada. Each of these other countries is considered to be roughly on par with the U.S. in terms of income and government structure, and each represents an important cross-section of the collective welfare of the developed world.

Based on the figures, the U.S. far outspends all other developed nations on healthcare expenditures, ranking in at a whopping $8,233 annually per person, on average. The only nation that even comes close to this figure is Norway, which spends roughly $5,388 annually per person on medical expenditures, or roughly 65 percent of what the U.S. spends. Iceland, whose economy recently made a huge comeback after its citizens forcibly dismantled the nation's corrupt central bank, only spends about $3,309 annually per person.

22-Year Study Proves Aspartame in Diet Soda is Linked to Cancer - Have You Craved it Today?

  • The longest-ever human aspartame study, spanning 22 years, found a clear association between aspartame consumption and non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and leukemia in men; leukemia was also associated with diet soda intake in both sexes
  • Despite this, beverage manufacturers continue to misleadingly describe this artificial sweetener as safe
  • Coca-Cola, for instance, notes that the methanol produced by aspartame is similar to that found naturally in fruits and vegetables, but in the latter case it is firmly bonded to pectin, allowing the methanol to be safely passed through your digestive tract
  • When methanol is consumed via aspartame, methanol is free to break down to toxic formaldehyde, and humans are incapable of converting the toxic formaldehyde into harmless formic acid (unlike other animals)
  • Coca-Cola also claims there is no biological explanation for why aspartame might cause headaches, when in fact it’s known that in humans, the methyl alcohol from aspartame travels through your blood vessels, like a Trojan horse, into sensitive areas where it is converted to the toxic poison formaldehyde

Confirmed: Heart Problems Linked to SSRI Antidepressants

By Dr. Mercola
In 2011, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued a safety alert on the antidepressant Celexa,1 warning it can cause abnormal changes in the electrical activity of your heart, which can lead to abnormal heart rhythm and fatal heart attacks.
New research published in the journal BMJ2 has added further support for this warning after finding that Celexa and other antidepressants, including Lexapro and Elavil, may extend the electrical activity in your heart (known as a QT interval), potentially leading to abnormal heart rhythms, which in turn can lead to dizziness, fainting or even sudden death.

Heart Rhythms Affected in Nearly One in Five Patients

The new study, which involved data from more than 38,000 adults, found that patients taking Celexa or certain other antidepressants called serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) had a significantly longer QT interval, which is an indicator of abnormal heart rhythms. The disturbance increased with greater doses of the drugs.
In all, nearly one in five patients taking these drugs had longer QT intervals. In an updated drug safety communication from the FDA, it’s noted that Celexa “use at any dose is discouraged in patients with certain conditions because of the risk of QT prolongation.” The FDA continued:3
“Changes in the electrical activity of the heart (specifically, prolongation of the QT interval of the electrocardiogram [ECG]) can lead to a risk of an abnormal heart rhythm called Torsade de Pointes, which can be fatal.

Patients at particular risk for developing prolongation of the QT interval include those with underlying heart conditions and those who are predisposed to having low levels of potassium and magnesium in the blood.

...Citalopram [Celexa] is not recommended for use at doses greater than 40 mg per day because such doses cause too large an effect on the QT interval and confer no additional benefit... Seek immediate care if you experience an irregular heartbeat, shortness of breath, dizziness, or fainting while taking citalopram.”

Surprising Health Hazards Associated with All-Fruit Diet

  • Ashton Kutcher recently disclosed he suffered pancreatic problems brought on by following an all-fruit diet adopted in preparation to play the character of Steve Jobs in the upcoming film “Jobs.” Steve Jobs died of pancreatic cancer in 2011
  • Fruits are loaded with antioxidants, vitamins and minerals, which is why eating a small amount of them is fine for healthy people. However, many benefit by restricting their fruit intake due to its high fructose content
  • Research suggests fructose may have a particularly significant impact on pancreatic cancer, as pancreatic cancer cells have been shown to use fructose for cell division, speeding up the growth and spread of the cancer
  • As a general guideline, I recommend limiting your total fructose consumption to 25 grams of fructose per day. If you suffer with any fructose-related health issues, such as insulin resistance, metabolic syndrome, heart disease, obesity or cancer, you would be wise to limit your total fructose consumption to 15 grams of fructose per day. This includes fructose from ALL sources, including whole fruit

How Addiction to Plastic Poisons Our Planet

By Dr. Mercola
We live in a throwaway society. The next time you’re in a grocery store, take a look around you and note the number of items packaged in plastic.
The problem is, these petroleum-based plastics are designed to last forever. So you have products for short-term consumption packaged in materials that survive for centuries.
This throwaway mindset is a relatively recent phenomenon. Your parents and grandparents used products in reusable, recyclable or degradable containers made from glass, metals and paper. But today, discarded plastics are circling the globe at a significant human and environmental cost.
This “out of sight, out of mind” mentality is suffocating our oceans and choking our wildlife — but the damage doesn’t end there.
Plastic chemicals are finding their way into your body and accumulating over time. The potential for catastrophic biological consequences for the human race is growing with every discarded bottle or bag.
Plasticizing chemicals like BPA disrupt embryonic development and are linked to heart disease and cancer.
Phthalates dysregulate gene expression and cause genital anomalies, especially in baby boys, that may pass down several generations. DEHP may lead to multiple organ damage. So, whether you look at environmental or biological effects, our careless use of plastics has created a monster needing immediate attention.

Judge blasts White House orders to assassinate U.S. citizens

President Obama’s policy of targeting enemies, including Americans, for death through drone strikes is the latest and most alarming example of the endless expansion of government power, according to Judge Andrew Napolitano.
Napolitano is the senior judicial analyst for the Fox News Channel and is the author most recently of “Theodore and Woodrow” and “The Freedom Answer Book.” He says the growth in government power is nothing new, and the erosion of individual freedoms is always pitched in pleasant ways.
“Monster government almost always comes with a smiling face,” he said. “After it’s here, the face loses its smile and it saps our liberties and our prosperity.”
Read Andrew Napolitano’s hot new column, “Obama gives himself permission to kill,” in which he asks: When will president’s drone murders come home to our shores?
Napolitano said there is no implosion of rights as troubling as what we’re seeing this week as the Obama administration defends the targeting and killing of enemies, including American citizens, without giving them the right to due process.

Bruce Willis opinion on gun control

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Bruce Willis says he’s against new gun control laws that could infringe on Second Amendment rights. The “Die Hard” star also dismisses any link between Hollywood shootouts and real-life gun violence.
“I think that you can’t start to pick apart anything out of the Bill of Rights without thinking that it’s all going to become undone,” Willis told The Associated Press in a recent interview while promoting his latest film, “A Good Day To Die Hard.” ”If you take one out or change one law, then why wouldn’t they take all your rights away from you?”
Willis’ fifth outing as wise-cracking cop John McClane, due in theaters Feb. 14, comes as his action franchise marks its 25th anniversary. The 57-year-old actor will also be seen firing away at bad guys in the upcoming sequels “G.I. Joe: Retaliation” and “Red 2,” both due later this year.

Rise of antibiotic-resistant superbugs an 'apocalyptic threat' to humanity, say experts

(NaturalNews) In the very near future, an "apocalyptic scenario" will more than likely emerge in which simple infections become deadly killers that are completely untreatable using modern medicine. This is the opinion of several prominent medical experts, including the U.K.'s Chief Medical Officer Dame Sally Davies, who recently made these and other chilling statements about the future of antibiotic-resistant "superbugs" and their threat to humanity.

As reported by the U.K.'s Guardian, current antibiotic options could become completely obsolete in as few as 20 years, triggering a national emergency that can only be compared to something like a large-scale terrorist attack, or pandemic flu. As doctors continue to indiscriminately dole out antibiotics to their patients, and factory farmers inject their livestock with antibiotics to offset filthy conditions, antibiotic resistance is reaching a critical tipping point.

Based on an annual report she plans to publish this spring, Davies is urging the British Cabinet Office to add antibiotic resistance to the National Risk Register, which highlights pertinent threats that could result in civil emergencies. Quite literally referencing the situation as a potential "apocalyptic scenario," Davies and others insist that if the issue is not taken seriously and properly addressed by health authorities, patients admitted to the hospital for simple operations could end up dead as a result of infection.

"There are few public health issues of potentially greater importance for society than antibiotic resistance," explained an urgent Davies to The Guardian. "It means we are at increasing risk of developing infections that cannot be treated ... This is why we will be publishing a new cross-government strategy and action plan to tackle this issue in early spring."

Obamacare excise tax showing up on receipts for sporting goods

(NaturalNews) The infamous Obamacare excise tax on medical devices that we covered back in December has officially come into effect as of January 1, and the fleecing has already affected some customers at a popular sporting goods chain. As reported by The Blaze, the 2.3 percent tax, which was only supposed to affect medical devices sold to hospitals and other healthcare entities, began to show up inexplicably on store receipts at a Cabela's sporting goods store in Texas, catching some customers by surprise.

A screenshot of a Cabela's store receipt that has widely circulated the internet in recent weeks shows purchases made for $279.67, with $26.69 of this total representing taxes. But further down on the receipt is a breakdown of this charge which shows $20.87 for "General Sales and Use," and $5.82 for a "Medical Excise Tax." Not only had the Obama administration previously indicated that medical devices sold at the retail level would be exempt from the tax, but Cabela's does not even sell medical devices, which makes the appearance of anomalous charge highly confusing.

You can view an image of the receipt here:

Police now accompanying Smart Meter installations: Two homeowners arrested for saying NO!

(NaturalNews) As if police in most major cities didn't have enough to do already, now they are being deployed as enforcers for the nanny state.

Cops in Naperville, Ill., a suburb of Chicago, have arrested two mothers after they attempted to block utility workers from installing so-called "smart meters" on their homes. The women, who were known to be vocal opponents of the wireless electric meters, apparently, were not the only smart meter opponents, however, because city officials told the Chicago Tribune they have ordered police to accompany utility crews as they install the meters on other homes where they were previously sent away.

"The previous installation attempts were met with some resistance and we wanted to ensure our employees' safety," City Manager Doug Krieger told the paper.

Translation: Your home isn't really your home anymore.

Hundreds of thousands of Master's degree holders, PhDs on food stamps

NaturalNews) Shelling out tens or even hundreds of thousands of dollars for higher education may no longer be the surefire path to a great career that it used to be. A recent report compiled by the education resource group OnlineColleges.net found that more than 300,000 Americans with either Master's degrees or Ph.D.s were receiving food stamps in 2010 -- and many more are likely on some form of government assistance today as economic conditions since that time have only continued to worsen.

To give a point of reference as to how bad the situation truly is, there were fewer than 100,000 Americans with Master's degrees or Ph.D.s on food stamps in 2007, which means the overall number of people with extensive college educations on government assistance more than tripled in just three years. And if this trend continued at the same rate between 2010 and 2013, the total number of college educated on government assistance today has easily eclipsed more than half a million, and with no end in sight.

The Benefits of Minimally Invasive Dentistry

  • Early intervention with minimally invasive dentistry can eliminate 80 percent of future dental interventions on the vast majority of patients
  • By identifying hypocalcific areas and using a miniature air abrasion tip to clean out those pits, fissures and grooves, removes the initial decay. The area is then sealed with glass ionomer. The end result is that those teeth tend to not decay in the future
  • Tooth decay is primarily driven by the symbiotic relationship between bacteria and acidity, which creates a pathogenic bioflora in your mouth. If you’re continually lowering the pH in your mouth, you start losing calcium, which is necessary for strong healthy teeth. Calcium deficiency leads to porosity in the teeth, which allows plaque that has turned pathogenic to attack the tooth more thoroughly
  • The three main components of minimally invasive dentistry comprises dietary prevention (creating a healthy bioflora in your mouth and body), dental prophylaxis (baking soda; oil pulling), and minimally invasive restorations, which will help prevent ever needing more invasive procedures like root canals, crowns, bridges and implants

DHS buys 7000 full-auto assault rifles, calls them 'personal defense weapons'

(NaturalNews) In yet another huge blow to the rhetoric and narrative of the Obama administration and its desire to disarm the American public, a DHS bid has been uncovered (see documents below) showing that the Department of Homeland Security recently put out an offer to purchase 7,000 full-auto "assault weapons" to be used domestically, inside the USA.

Keep in mind that President Obama is on the record saying, "AK-47s belong in the hands of soldiers, not in the hands of criminals; that they belong on the battlefield of war, not on the streets of our cities."

But it seems he really means they don't belong on the streets of our cities unless they are in the hands of homeland security enforcers, in which case they can be FULL-AUTO assault weapons.

The DHS bid for 7,000 full-auto assault weapons is found by clicking here. The original credit for discovering this goes, to my best knowledge, to Awr Hawkins at Breitbart.com.

IRS: Cheapest Obamacare Plan Will Be $20,000 Per Family

(CNSNews.com) – In a final regulation issued Wednesday, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) assumed that under Obamacare the cheapest health insurance plan available in 2016 for a family will cost $20,000 for the year.
Under Obamacare, Americans will be required to buy health insurance or pay a penalty to the IRS.
The IRS's assumption that the cheapest plan for a family will cost $20,000 per year is found in examples the IRS gives to help people understand how to calculate the penalty they will need to pay the government if they do not buy a mandated health plan.
The examples point to families of four and families of five, both of which the IRS expects in its assumptions to pay a minimum of $20,000 per year for a bronze plan.
“The annual national average bronze plan premium for a family of 5 (2 adults, 3 children) is $20,000,” the regulation says.
Bronze will be the lowest tier health-insurance plan available under Obamacare--after Silver, Gold, and Platinum. Under the law, the penalty for not buying health insurance is supposed to be capped at either the annual average Bronze premium, 2.5 percent of taxable income, or $2,085.00 per family in 2016.

Morningland Dairy destroyed by feds, $250,000 inventory stolen by government thugs during armed raid

(NaturalNews) There is a reason why America's founding fathers were willing to shed their own blood to gain independence from the crushing authoritarianism of the Crown of England. Nearly three years after first becoming a target for destruction by state and federal government agencies, Morningland Dairy of Mountain View, Missouri, has officially and forcibly been driven out of business by a rogue police state that recently confiscated, at gunpoint, most of the farm's inventory of perfectly safe, raw cheese, which was valued at roughly $250,000.

Morningland first found itself entangled in a government-initiated war against raw food back in 2005 when undercover agents targeted Rawesome Foods, a Venice, California-based private food buying club, for the "crime" of selling wholesome food to health-conscious club members. Five years later, in 2010, armed officials from local, state, federal, and even foreign government agencies came and raided the club at gunpoint, stealing thousands of dollars' worth of farm-fresh food products, including raw milk cheese products made by Morningland.
