Recently uncovered documents prove that the Obama administration has
been working with the Mexican government to increase the number of
illegal immigrants on food stamps, and when more illegal immigrants go
on food stamps JP Morgan makes more money. As you will read about
below, JP Morgan has made at least 560 million dollars
processing Electronic Benefits Transfer cards. Each month, JP Morgan
makes between $.31 and $2.30 for every single person on food stamps (and
that does not even include things like ATM fees, etc). So JP Morgan
has a vested interest in seeing poverty grow and the number of people on
food stamps increase. Meanwhile, the Obama administration has been
aggressively seeking to expand participation in the food stamp program.
Under Obama, the number of people on food stamps has grown from 32
million to more than 47 million. And even though poverty in America is absolutely exploding,
that apparently is not good enough for the Obama administration. It
has now come out that the U.S. Department of Agriculture has provided
the Mexican government with literature that actively encourages illegal
immigrants to enroll in food stamps. One flyer contains the following
statement in Spanish: "You need not divulge information regarding your immigration status in seeking this benefit for your children."
The bold and the underlining are in the original document in case you
were wondering. Overall, federal spending on food stamps increased from
18 billion dollars in 2000 to 85 billion dollars in 2012, and at this
point one out of every five U.S. households
in now enrolled in the food stamp program. When people illegally or
fraudulently enroll in the food stamp program, it makes it harder for
those that desperately need the help to be able to get it.

Analysis Finds Monsanto’s GE (Genetically Engineered) Corn Nutritionally Inferior and High in Toxins
- A 2012 nutritional analysis of GMO versus non-GMO corn shows shocking differences in nutritional content. Non-GMO corn contains 437 times more calcium, 56 times more magnesium, and 7 times more manganese than GMO corn
- GMO corn was also found to contain 13 ppm of glyphosate, compared to zero in non-GMO corn. EPA “safe” level for glyphosate in American water supplies is 0.7 ppm, and organ damage in animals has occurred at levels as low as 0.1 ppm
- GMO corn contains extremely high levels of formaldehyde—about 200 times the amount found toxic to animals
- Research by a Texas teenager using fruit flies, which began when she was in middle school, shows that in virtually every health measure, including fertility, stress resistance and longevity, flies that fed on organic bananas and potatoes fared better than those who fed on conventionally raised produce. Her research was recently published in a respected science journal

Millions in CIA "ghost money" paid to Afghanistan president's office: NYT
(Reuters) - Tens of
millions of U.S. dollars in cash were delivered by the CIA in
suitcases, backpacks and plastic shopping bags to the office of
Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai for more than a decade, the New York
Times says, citing current and former advisers to the Afghan leader.
The so-called "ghost money" was meant to buy influence for the
Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) but instead fuelled corruption and
empowered warlords, undermining Washington's exit strategy from
Afghanistan, the newspaper quoted U.S. officials as saying."The biggest source of corruption in Afghanistan", one American official said, "was the United States."
The CIA declined to comment on the report and the U.S. State Department did not immediately comment. The New York Times did not publish any comment from Karzai or his office.
"We called it 'ghost money'," Khalil Roman, who served as Karzai's chief of staff from 2002 until 2005, told the New York Times. "It came in secret and it left in secret."
There was no evidence that Karzai personally received any of the money, Afghan officials told the newspaper. The cash was handled by his National Security Council, it added.
In response to the report, Karzai told reporters in Helsinki after a meeting with Finnish leaders that the office of the National Security Council had been receiving support from the U.S. government for the past 10 years. He said the amounts had been "not big" and the funds were used for various purposes including assistance for the wounded.

Top 12 Strategies for Optimizing Your Health
By Dr. Mercola
A recent article by CNN1 lists 25 ways to get healthier. Some of the suggestions certainly have merit, but it was more noteworthy for the many ridiculous tips they included, and some of the crucially important ones they neglected.
Actually, no surprises there, as the media is a mere reflection of the corrupted medical paradigm that focuses on treating symptoms rather than addressing the foundational causes of disease.
So, here’s my own list of the top dozen lifestyle strategies I believe can make the biggest difference in your health as they address most of the disruptions that are at the core of most health challenges.
#1. Add Sprouts to Your Diet
One of the most nutritious powerhouses to add to your diet are sprouts. They are an authentic “super” food that many overlook or have long stopped using. In addition to their nutritional profile, sprouts are also easy and fun to grow in your own home as they don’t require an outdoor garden.
They can contain up to 39 times the nutrition of organic vegetables grown in your own garden, and allow your body to extract more vitamins, minerals, amino acids and essential fats from the foods you eat. During sprouting, minerals, such as calcium and magnesium, bind to protein, making them more bioavailable.
Furthermore, both the quality of the protein and the fiber content of beans, nuts, seeds and grains improves when sprouted. The content of vitamins and essential fatty acids also increase dramatically during the sprouting process. Sunflower seed, broccoli and pea sprouts tend to top the list of all the seeds that you can sprout and are typically each about 30 times more nutritious than organic vegetables. While you can sprout a variety of different beans, nuts, seeds and grains, sprouts in general have the following beneficial attributes:

- Support for cell regeneration
- Powerful sources of antioxidants, minerals, vitamins and enzymes that protect against free radical damage
- Alkalinizing effect on your body, which is thought to protect against disease, including cancer (as many tumors are acidic)
- Abundantly rich in oxygen, which can also help protect against abnormal cell growth, viruses and bacteria that cannot survive in an oxygen-rich environment
NYT pushing toxic cancer drugs for healthy women who have no cancer
(NaturalNews) A taxpayer-funded government task force has issued new guidelines that literally urge
healthy women to take toxic cancer drugs "preventively" in order to
allegedly decrease their risk of developing breast cancer. As recently
promoted by The New York Times (NYT), these shocking new recommendations from the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force
(USPSTF) have been issued despite a complete lack of evidence that the
dangerous cancer drugs being recommended have any preventive efficacy
whatsoever.
Fortifying earlier recommendations from 2002 that encouraged both tamoxifen and raloxifene as so-called preventive breast cancer treatment, USPSTF now says that healthy women with either a personal or family history of breast cancer, or who are considered "high risk," should consider taking either of the two drugs for at least five years, even though doing so could cause major side effects like blood clots or stroke. USPSTF is also now pressing doctors to being actively prescribing such drugs to their healthy female patients, and particularly those between the ages of 40 and 70.
The task force says it recently evaluated a host of new data on the subject of breast cancer prevention and determined that taking either tamoxifen or raloxifene while healthy may help block estrogen, a hormone that feeds roughly 75 percent of the type of breast cancers that women today face. The group estimates that for every 1,000 healthy women who take either of the two drugs, roughly eight of them will avoid developing breast cancer in the following five years.

Mammograms Do More Harm Than Good
• Mammograms may not make much difference. Yes, there
has been about a 25 percent drop in breast-cancer death rates since
1990. But some researchers point to treatment—not mammograms—as being
mainly responsible for the decline. Evidence comes from a study of three
pairs of European countries: In each pair, mammograms were introduced
in one country 10 to 15 years earlier than in the other. Yet mortality
rates are virtually identical, indicating mammography hadn’t made a
difference. Further, mammograms, are not so great at detecting the most
lethal forms of disease—a “triple negative,” for example—at a treatable
phase. Aggressive tumors also tend to progress too quickly, cropping up
between screenings.
• Unnecessary treatments can be harmful. “According to a survey of randomized clinical trials involving 600,000 women around the world, for every 2,000 women screened annually over 10 years, 1 life is prolonged but 10 healthy women are given diagnoses of breast cancer and unnecessarily treated, often with therapies that themselves have life-threatening side effects,” Orenstein reports. Those treatments include Tamoxifen, which carries risks of stroke, blood clots and uterine cancer, while radiation and chemotherapy weaken the heart.
• Newer diagnosis is on the rise. Many women today are told they have ductal carcinoma in situ (D.C.I.S.), or “Stage Zero” cancer, in which abnormal cells are found in the lining of the breast’s milk ducts. The diagnosis of D.C.I.S., in fact, now accounts for about a quarter of new breast-cancer cases, totaling some 60,000 a year. These are oftentimes the women we see celebrated at pink-ribbon events as “triumphs of early detection.” But D.C.I.S. does not spread; “in situ” means “in place.” The only danger is if it develops into an invasive cancer, and right now, there’s no way to know that, which is one of the major things in this fight that needs to change, say researchers. In the mean time, says Laura Esserman, director of the Carol Franc Buck Breast Care Center at the University of California, San Francisco: “D.C.I.S. is not cancer. It’s a risk factor. …We don’t do heart surgery when someone comes in with high cholesterol. What are we doing to these people?”

GE Trees May Be Even More Damaging to the Environment than GE Foods: A Silent Forest
- The documentary A Silent Forest: The Growing Threat, Genetically Engineered Trees discusses how genetically engineered (GE) trees may adversely impact ecological systems on a grand scale, with potentially catastrophic effects
- Trees are being genetically altered to give them unnatural characteristics, such as the ability to kill insects, tolerate toxic herbicides, grow abnormally fast, or have decreased lignin for the convenience of the paper industry
- Genetically engineered trees vastly differ from annual GE crops like corn and soybeans because trees can live for decades and even centuries in the wild; once GE trees escape the confines of their plantation, they are extremely difficult, if not impossible, to eradicate
- Many trees are able to spread their seeds and pollen for hundreds and even thousands of miles, making native forests vulnerable to cross-contamination, which poses an enormous threat to worldwide ecosystems
- The biotech industry and US government are rushing ahead without performing appropriate safety studies, doing everything they can to hasten the approval of GE technology while silencing the opposition

Feds caught promoting welfare to Mexicans
The U.S. government has been caught promoting the delivery of
taxpayer-funded welfare benefits to foreigners, and Judicial Watch’s
conclusion is that the Obama administration “cannot be trusted to
protect our borders.”
Judicial Watch, the Washington watchdog which is known for tracking down and trying to stamp out government corruption, has issued a report revealing that the U.S. Department of Agriculture is working with the Mexican government to promote the U.S. food stamp program to illegal aliens.
The report said the program, called Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, features a Spanish-language flyer supplied to the Mexican Embassy by the USDA “with a statement advising Mexicans in the U.S. that they do not need to declare their immigration status in order to receive financial assistance.”
Just so they don’t miss the idea, the message is in bold and underlined on the brochure: “You need not divulge information regarding your immigration status in seeking this benefit for your children.”

Jury: Fraud put Obama on '08 ballot
Two Democrats in Indiana have been found guilty of submitting
unauthorized names on the petition that placed then-Sen. Barack Obama on
the 2008 presidential election primary ballot, meaning he likely did
not qualify.
Fox News reports the jury in South Bend found guilty on all counts former longtime St. Joseph County Democratic Party chairman Butch Morgan Jr. and former county Board of Elections worker Dustin Blythe.
The two faced accusations of petition fraud and forgery, as well as falsely making a petition.
The verdicts raise anew questions about election fraud by Democrats, a subject that was analyzed after the 2012 election.
The report found vote fraud occurred in the 2012 presidential election and cumulatively was likely enough to decide the outcome.
“In reality, although no single instance or aspect of vote fraud was likely enough to tip the election for Obama, the aggregate of their [Democrats] corrupt activities – including illegal campaign donations, taking advantage of states without voter ID requirements, military ballots delivered too late … may well have been,” the analysis said.

Plastic and Cancerous Compounds in Tea Bags—A Surprising Source of Potential Toxins
- Some tea bags are made with plastic, such as nylon, thermoplastic, PVC or polypropylene. While these plastics have high melting points, the temperature at which the molecules in polymers begin to break down is always lower than the melting point, which could allow the bags to leach compounds of unknown health hazards into your tea when steeped in boiling water
- Paper tea bags are frequently treated with epichlorophydrin, which hydrolyzes to 3-MCPD when contact with water occurs. 3-MCPD is a carcinogen associated with food processing that has also been implicated in infertility and suppressed immune function
- I recommend purchasing tea from manufacturers who can certify that their tea bags do not contain epichlorophydrin, and avoid plastic tea bags. Your best option is to opt for loose tea. Instructions for brewing tea using loose tea leaves are included
- When selecting tea of any kind, it should preferably be organic (to avoid pesticides) and grown in a pristine environment (tea is known to accumulate fluoride, heavy metals and other toxins from soil and water, so a clean growing environment is essential to producing a pure, high-quality tea)

Secure quantum code transmitted by mobile aircraft to the ground for first time
Munich, Germany--A team led by
Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (LMU) physicist Harald Weinfurter
and Sebastian Nauerth at the Physics Faculty at LMU Munich in
collaboration with the German Center for Aeronautics and Space Research
(DLR), has succeeded in optically transmitting quantum information between a ground station and a plane in flight; see the article in Nature Photonics at http://www.nature.com/nphoton/journal/vaop/ncurrent/abs/nphoton.2013.46.html. This is the first demonstration of free space optical (FSO) (http://www.laserfocusworld.com/articles/2010/11/photonics-applied-free-space-communications-sophisticated-optical-system-extend-reach-of-free-space-communications.html) quantum cryptography transmission using a mobile transmitter.
The quantum channel was integrated into DLR's laser-based, wireless communications system, (http://www.laserfocusworld.com/articles/2011/04/free-space-optical-communication-n-slit-interferometer-extends-secure-free-space-communications-to-527-m.html) allowing DLR's expertise and experience with the system to be utilized in the realization of the experiment.
"This demonstrates that quantum cryptography can be implemented as an extension to existing systems," says LMU's Sebastian Nauerth. In the experiment, single photons were sent from the aircraft to the receiver on the ground. The challenge was to ensure that the photons could be precisely directed at the telescope on the ground in spite of the impact of mechanical vibrations and air turbulence. "With the aid of rapidly movable mirrors, a targeting precision of less than 3 m over a distance of 20 km was achieved," reports Florian Moll, project leader at the DLR's Institute for Communication and Navigation. With this level of accuracy, William Tell could have hit the apple on his son’s head even from a distance of 500 m.
Unlike communication based on classical bits, quantum cryptography uses the quantum states of single light quanta (photons) for the exchange of data. Heisenberg's uncertainty principle limits the precision with which the position and momentum of a quantum particle can be determined simultaneously, but can also be exploited for secure information transfer. Like its classical counterpart, quantum cryptography requires a shared key with which the parties encode and decode messages. However, quantum mechanical phenomena guarantee the security of quantum key distribution. Because quantum states are fragile, interception of the key by an eavesdropper will alter the behavior properties of the particles, and thus becomes detectable.
This encrypting strategy is already being used by some government agencies and banks. Data are sent either along glass-fiber cables or through the atmosphere. However, optical key distribution via these channels is limited to distances of less than 200 km, due to signal losses along the way. In 2007, LMU physicist Harald Weinfurter and his group successfully transmitted a key over 144 km of free space between ground stations on the islands of Tenerife and La Palma. Distribution of such keys via satellite networks would make secure data transmission possible on a global scale.
With respect to the rate of signal loss and the effects of air turbulence, the conditions encountered during the experiment were comparable to those expected for transmission via satellite. The same holds for the angular velocity of the aircraft. The success of the experiment therefore represents an important step towards secure satellite-based global communication.

New GMO Wheat May ‘Silence’ Vital Human Genes
By Dr. Mercola

Australia's Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO) has developed a type of genetically modified (GM) wheat that may silence human genes, leading to disastrous health consequences.
Last year, University of Canterbury Professor Jack Heinemann released results from genetic research he conducted on the wheat, which showed with “no doubt” that molecules created in the wheat, which are intended to silence wheat genes to change its carbohydrate content, may match human genes and potentially silence them.
University Professor Judy Carman agreed with Heinemann's analysis, stating in Digital Journal:1
"If this silences the same gene in us that it silences in the wheat -- well, children who are born with this enzyme not working tend to die by the age of about five.”

Nestle CEO seeks to control the world's water supply
(NaturalNews) Gun control may be a hot topic, but what about water
control? Recent comments from Nestle CEO Peter Brabeck imply that the
world's water will soon come under the control of corporations like his.
Brabeck makes the astonishing claim that water is not a human right,
but should be managed by business people and governing bodies. He wants
water controlled, privatized, and delegated in a way that sustains the
planet. View the astonishing interview here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7iGj4GpAbTM
He calls water a "foodstuff" that needs an assigned value. Who controls the price of water? Brabeck bases his sustainability projects on the fact that a third of the world's population may face water shortages within 15-20 years. By price controlling water, Brabeck believes he may save the planet from food and water shortages in the coming years.
With the threat of future water shortages, is it necessary to strip all humans of their natural liberty to water, as Brabeck suggests?
What might happen if international controls are placed on water sources as a select few corporate dictators rule over the water supply?
Can a free and thriving people find better ways to conserve and respect water with their own liberty, rather than allow global corporations to control it?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7iGj4GpAbTM
Water control hitting the United States
All of this means that Brabeck's future plans include monitoring and controlling the amount of water people use. One day, cities and towns may be forced by international law to limit each household to a set amount of water. People may have to obtain permits to dig wells or pay fines for collecting rainwater. Laws like these are already in motion in the United States. Learn more here: http://www.naturalnews.com/029286_rainwater_collection_water.htmlNestle's CEO thinks all water should have a price
In the interview, Brabeck touts that his company is the largest foodstuff corporation in the world with over $65 billion in profit each year. He proudly claims that millions of people are dependent on him and his company. Does this guy think he is a god?He calls water a "foodstuff" that needs an assigned value. "Sirius" is a feature length documentary that follows Dr. Steven Greer -- an Emergency Medicine doctor turned UFO/ New Energy researcher -- as he struggles to disclose top secret information about classified energy & propulsion techniques. Along the way, Dr. Greer investigates new technology and sheds light on criminal suppression. He accumulates over 100 Government, Military, and Intelligence Community witnesses who testify on record about their first-hand experiences with UFOs and with the cover-up.
In the course of his research Dr. Greer is asked to look at an amazing find: a humanoid specimen, 6 inches long from the Atacama Desert. Not until 2012 was he given permission to take bone samples and DNA from the specimen. At that same time a pre-eminent geneticist, hearing of this find, offered to do DNA testing. He enlisted an MD from the same university,- world renowned for his work with skeletal anomalies, to view the xrays and CT scans. Their experise along with Dr. Greer's expansive knowledge of the subject bring more questions than answers. Where did this "Atacama Humanoid" come from? Are there others like it? What does it say about the origin of the human species?
While on this odyssey, the audience gains a whole new perspective on technology, human evolution, and clandestine organizations who have manipulated and controlled the public for centuries.

By Dr. Mercola
Cellulite, those pockets of fat that tend to collect on buttocks, thighs and upper arms, are a cause of embarrassment for many. The dimpling, “orange peel” effect occurs when fat cells push against the surrounding subcutaneous connective tissue in your skin. If your lymph circulation becomes sluggish, toxins accumulate in these fat cells.
Liposuction, creams and wraps only temporarily reduce the appearance of cellulite. Without continual treatment, cellulite just reappears...So what, if anything, might actually work to reduce cellulite?
The featured article in The Guardian1 suggests body brushing. Simply give yourself a vigorous scrub-down with a dry body brush before you get into the shower, and then apply a good moisturizer afterward. (I recommend plain coconut oil opposed to chemical-laden creams). According to the writer, this simple technique “really did, honest-to-God, make a remarkable difference in just a few weeks.”
There’s certainly nothing wrong with this strategy; body brushing can help improve circulation and lymph flow, which are important elements for cellulite elimination. The downside is having to manually scrub yourself in areas that can be hard or uncomfortable to reach. Three strategies that I believe might be far more effective, in order of importance, are as follows, and in the following sections I’ll explain why:
- Intermittent fasting
- Whole body vibration training, a.k.a. Acceleration Training
- Rebound exercise
Intermittent Fasting Shifts Your Body from Burning Sugar to Burning Fat
In a nutshell, the answer to eliminating cellulite is to shift your body from burning sugar to efficiently burning fat for fuel, in order to get rid of excess fat deposits. Intermittent fasting is one of the most powerful interventions I know of to move your body into fat burning mode.Read more: http://fitness.mercola.com/sites/fitness/archive/2013/04/19/cellulite-elimination.aspx?e_cid=20130419_DNL_art_1&utm_source=dnl&utm_medium=email&utm_content=art1&utm_campaign=20130419
One of the mechanisms that makes fasting so effective for fat loss is the fact that it provokes the secretion of human growth hormone (HGH), which is a fat-burning hormone. Fasting also increases catecholamines, which increases resting energy expenditure while decreasing insulin levels, which allows stored fat to be burned for fuel.
Together, these and other factors will turn you into an effective fat-burning machine.
The type of fast you choose appears to be less important, so pick whichever one fits your lifestyle, schedule, and temperament the best. For variations, see this previous article on intermittent fasting. I have been experimenting with different types of scheduled eating in my own life for the past three years, and my preference is to simply skip breakfast and restrict my eating to a 6-7 hour window each day.
For this version of intermittent fasting to be effective, you need to restrict your eating to a window of maximum eight hours each day. This means eating only between the hours of 11am until 7pm, as an example. Essentially, this equates to simply skipping breakfast and making lunch your first meal of the day instead.
This is doable and convenient for most people, but you can restrict it even further — down to six, four, or even two hours, if you want, but you can still reap many of these rewards by limiting your eating to a window of about eight hours.
In the 6-8 hours that you do eat, you want to have healthy protein, minimize your carbs like pasta and bread and potatoes and exchange them for healthful fats like butter, eggs, avocado, coconut oil, olive oil and nuts. (The type of fats the media and “experts" tell you to avoid.)
This will help shift your body from sugar-burning mode to fat-burning mode. Remember it takes a few weeks to make the transition. You have to do it gradually, but once you succeed and switch to fat burning mode, you will easily be able to fast for 18 hours and not feel hungry. Your cravings for sugar will magically disappear and it will be much easier to achieve your ideal weight.
Foods that can help reduce high blood pressure
(1) Cayenne is in chili peppers. Using those with food is good for reducing blood pressure, even though it may not feel that way.
Herbal masters Dr. Christopher and Dr. Schulz recommend taking a teaspoon of at least 40,000 heat units of cayenne pepper powder mixed in water two times daily to support complete heart health and more.
(2) Hibiscus or Jamaica (hu-my-ca) tea on ice is well known as a refreshing beverage in the Caribbean islands, South America, and Mexico. It has been clinically proven to lower high BP. You can dowse the flame out of your mouth from cayenne with a Jamaica iced tea and double the benefits.
Dried hibiscus flower petals are used to make the tea. Some health food stores may have them. Stores specializing in Hispanic foods most likely will. Or you can order them online.
To prepare: Simply cover the bottom of a large pan thickly with the petals, then pour hot (not boiling) water over them. Cover and let it steep for a half hour. Strain while pouring into a glass container then refrigerate and use when desired.
(3) A Louisville medical center study found that snacking on raisins three times daily could reduce BP among those in a prehypertension group. Amazingly, they even used processed food snacks containing raisins. [2]
(4) The American Heart Association has discovered through research that eating three kiwis a day reduces BP.
(5) The American Chemical Society claims purple root vegetables, such as purple potatoes, have chemical properties that reduce BP.
(6) A Florida State University study found that watermelon lowers BP. In addition to watermelon's potassium contribution, they found a specific amino acid that contributes to lowering BP. [2]
(7) Speaking of potassium, don't forget to eat bananas. The Harvard Medical School reported a UK study that determined foods containing potassium nitrate were even better than supplements using potassium chloride for lowering BP.
(8) Hawthorne berries have both herbalists and mainstream medicos agreeing on its blood pressure lowering ability. Its tea has been a Chinese household heart tonic for centuries. If you can't find a Chinese food specialty store, go online or use Hawthorne extract supplements. Details here (http://www.naturalnews.com/035685_hawthorn_berries_heart_health.html).
(9) We can't forget chocolate, can we? It should be organic and dark or bittersweet without milk and with very little sugar. Yes, it has been researched; there are compounds in cacao that dilate blood vessels and lower blood pressure (http://www.naturalnews.com).

How Fracking Chemicals Poison Us
- Some forecasters claim the US will outstrip Saudi Arabia as the world’s largest oil producer by 2017, effectively rendering the US self-sufficient in terms of energy production. Others analysts warn shale drilling is the next Big Bubble that could rival the bank industry bailouts
- Recently unsealed court records show fracking activities in Pennsylvania leaked acetone into fresh water supplies. Plaintiff’s water supply was also found to be contaminated with unsafe levels of acrylonitrile, a highly flammable and toxic chemical compound classified as a probable carcinogen
- Fracking proponents claim it is a safe and effective drilling method that reduces the surface footprint of the drilling operation. However, people across the US have reported serious adverse health events resulting from contamination of air and/or drinking water
- Reported adverse effects of exposure to fracking chemicals include respiratory ailments, shortness of breath, chemical sensitivities, skin rashes, swelling, skin lesions, severe headaches, nausea and vomiting

San Diego County considers forcing residents to take psychiatric medication under Laura's Law
(NaturalNews) San Diego County in California is considering implementing
Laura's Law, which would give the state's second most populous county -
home to over three million people - the uncontested right to force
psychiatric medication upon its residents.
Funds for the forced inpatient or outpatient psychiatric incarceration, known as "assisted outpatient treatment" are to be provided by taxpayers. Other bills under consideration would extend Laura's Law to schoolchildren, at the discretion of school administrators.
Laura's Law is heavily supported by law enforcement, the press, the American Psychiatric Association and host of "consumer and family advocate groups." In others words, those who believe the government deserves more control absolutely love Laura's Law. After all, Laura's Law offers those in power the ultimate form of control - over your brain chemistry.
Each county within the state of California has the option of implementing Laura's Law. Los Angeles County implemented it in 2004. San Diego County undertook a 90-day review of the law in March 2013 as it considers implementation.
The law is named for Laura Wilcox, who was shot and killed at the age of 19 by a man with untreated, severe mental illness.
Inpatient: (1) Danger to self/others or (2) unable to provide for basic personal needs for food, clothing, or shelter.
Outpatient: Condition likely to substantially deteriorate, unlikely to survive safely in community without supervision, history of noncompliance which includes two hospitalizations in past 36 months or act/threat/attempt of violence to self/others in 48 months immediately preceding petition filing, likely needs to prevent meeting inpatient standard, and likely to benefit from assisted treatment.
Glancing over these standards quickly is dangerous because they are written to appear strict and reasonable. If we break them down, however, you can see that the wildly vague language used is open to broad interpretation.

In others words, those who believe the government deserves more control absolutely love Laura's Law. After all, Laura's Law offers those in power the ultimate form of control - over your brain chemistry.
What is Laura's Law?
Laura's Law is an existing state law, passed by the California state legislature in 2002 and signed by Governor Gray Davis. The law makes it possible for anyone to be ordered into psychiatric treatment if determined appropriate by authorities. Non-compliant "patients" are not given a choice, pending involuntary incarceration.
How do you qualify for forced psychiatric treatment under Laura's Law?
Authorities simply determine that you meet the state approved criteria. In California, the criteria are as follows:Inpatient: (1) Danger to self/others or (2) unable to provide for basic personal needs for food, clothing, or shelter.
The bottom line is this: Someone in authority needs to decide that you are a "danger." That's it. Then, they can lock you up and medicate you into oblivion. Case closed.
But wait, it says that you have to have a hard history of hospitalization and violence in order to qualify. Not so! All you need to qualify to lose your physical and mental freedom is, at any time during the last four years, to act/threat/attempt violence to self/others. An "act/threat/attempt" of violence, by the way, could be ANYTHING. Giving someone a dirty look could be interpreted as a threat of violence.Friday, April 12, 2013
Salmon Confidential—How a Canadian Government Cover-Up Threatens Your Health, and the Entire Ecosystem
Salmon Confidential from Twyla Roscovich on Vimeo.
- Salmon Confidential draws back the curtain to reveal how the Canadian government is covering up the cause behind British Columbia’s rapidly dwindling wild salmon populations: fish farms
- In British Columbia, pacific salmon are an essential species for the ecosystem. They fill hundreds of streams and rivers, feeding hundreds of species, including humans. Since the early 1990’s, salmon numbers have rapidly dwindled, coinciding with the introduction of farmed salmon pens
- Fish farms breed pathogens that can spread like wildfire and contaminate any wild fish swimming past. Wild salmon that died before spawning have tested positive for a number of salmon viruses, including the highly lethal “salmon influenza”
- Farmed fish, purchased in stores around British Columbia have tested positive for at least three lethal fish viruses, including the dreaded ISA virus (aka salmon flu), salmon alpha viruses, and Piscine reovirus, which causes the salmon to have a heart attack, preventing them from swimming upriver
- I recommend buying locally-grown foods, and wild fish only. Fish farms are a breeding ground for disease and toxic waste, and produce fish of inferior quality. Due to the dramatically increased disease risk—a natural side effect of crowding—these animals are further contaminated with drugs, and in the case of salmon, synthetic astaxanthin, which is made from petrochemicals that are not approved for human consumption
Navy's New Laser Weapon Blasts Bad Guys From Air, Sea
No longer the fantasy weapon of tomorrow, the U.S. Navy is set to field a
powerful laser that can protect its ships by blasting targets with
high-intensity light beams.
Early next year the Navy will place a laser weapon aboard a ship in the
Persian Gulf where it could be used to fend off approaching unmanned
aerial vehicles or speedboats.
The Navy calls its futuristic weapon LAWS, which stands for the Laser Weapon System. What looks like a small telescope is actually a weapon that can track a moving target and fire a steady laser beam strong enough to burn a hole through steel.
A Navy video of testing conducted last summer off the coast of California shows how a laser beam fired from a Navy destroyer was able to set aflame an approaching UAV or drone, sending it crashing into the ocean.
"There was not a single miss" during the testing, said Rear Admiral
Matthew Klunder, chief of Naval Research. The laser was three for three
in bringing down an approaching unmanned aerial vehicle and 12 for 12
when previous tests are factored in.

Live algae powers this apartment complex
This 15-apartment housing complex in Hamburg, Germany, is definitely not the first
residential building to produce every drip of energy it uses, but the
newly completed lime green box is, in fact, the very first to owe its
net-zero status to the growth of live algae. The structure, known as BIK, is armored
in panels designed to nurture algae growth, with water, nutrients, and
carbon dioxide pumping inside each of the building's 129 "bioreactors."
As the sun shines, the algae photosynthesizes and grows until there's
enough biomass for the structure's mechanics to convert the residue into
energy. The algae system, supplemented by solar panels and
ultra-insulating architecture designed to keep indoor temperatures
comfortable without using any energy at all, means the creators of BIK,
which include Spitterwerk Architects and the global consulting firm ARUP, can loudly boast the building's complete energy independence.

Debtors' prisons alive and well in U.S.!
It sounds like something from the Victorian England of Dickens, not
modern Ohio. People going to jail because they can not pay their debts.
The American Civil Liberties Union has documented how it is happening now, in America.
The ACLU of Ohio discovered some form of the practice of imprisoning
debtors in at least seven of the 11 counties it examined. In some cases,
the debts were as small as a few hundred dollars.
“The use of debtors’ prison is an outdated and destructive practice that has wreaked havoc upon the lives of those profiled in this report and thousands of others throughout Ohio,” the report says.
The ACLU did a study in 2010 revealing the use of debtors prison practices in five states, Louisiana, Michigan, Ohio, Georgia and Washington. That led to a comprehensive study by the ACLU of Ohio, released just this month, on the widespread practice of jailing people for debt.
Thousands of poor Ohioans face the prospect of incarceration, according to the study, even though imprisoning someone for a debt that person can not pay is prohibited by the U.S. Constitution, a 1983 United States Supreme Court decision (declaring this practice to be a violation of the Equal Protection Clause of the Constitution), the Ohio Constitution, the Ohio Revised Code and numerous decisions by the Ohio Supreme Court.

Pentagon developing humanoid Terminator robots that will soon carry weapons
(NaturalNews) Watch the video embedded below: It reveals the "Petman"
humanoid robot funded by the Department of Defense. Like something
ripped right out of a sci-fi movie, the robot sweats to regulate body
temperature, and it can be dressed in chemical suits, camo or other
uniforms to resemble humans. The picture you see at the top of this
article is take from the actual humanoid robot currently under
development.
Have no illusions about where this is headed: The Pentagon wants to develop and deploy a robotic army of autonomous soldiers that will kill without hesitation. It's only a matter of time before these robots are armed with rifles, grenade launchers and more. Their target acquisition systems can be a hybrid combination of both thermal and night vision technologies, allowing them to see humans at night and even detect heat signatures through building walls.
This is the army humanity is eventually going to face. You'd all better start getting familiar with the anatomy of humanoid robots so that you know where to shoot them for maximum incapacitation effect. You'd also better start learning how to sew thermal blankets into clothing, hoodies and scarves in order to fool thermal imaging systems.
At first, these robots will be deployed as soldier assistants, carrying gear, retrieving wounded soldiers from hot zones, and so on. But over time, the roles will be reversed: Robotic soldiers will serve on the front lines while humans only serve support roles to keep the robots running. Such a transition will take decades, of course, but it's coming.
Not coincidentally, an emerging technology of "cooperative drones" that allows small aircraft to carry heavy objects in flight is also being called "Skynet." Watch that creepy video below, narrated by Paul Joseph Watson of Infowars.com.
You need to be aware that all this is happening right now. The Pentagon is funding autonomous robots that fly, swim and walk. In very short order, weapons will be mounted to these drones, and the Pentagon will be in command of a sci-fi robotic army of drones. Remember the Clone Wars from Star Wars? You're about to see the "Drone Wars" for real.

What happens when the robots become self-aware?
A more apocalyptic scenario unfolds when the machines are taught to build self-replicating factories that one day gain enough intelligence to decide that humans are no longer needed. This is the scenario described in the movie "Terminator," where Skynet launches nuclear missiles in an attempt to destroy humanity. Not coincidentally, an emerging technology of "cooperative drones" that allows small aircraft to carry heavy objects in flight is also being called "Skynet." Government health agency forces charity to destroy $8,000 worth of venison donated for the hungry
(NaturalNews) Ringo Starr, the famous British musician and former
drummer for The Beatles, once stated, "Everything government touches
turns to crap." Little did he know that the American government would
one day become a literal embodiment of this quote, most recently in
Louisiana where busybody bureaucrats decided to not only decimate a
notable charity program that feeds the needy, but also force the
destruction of $8,000 worth of perfectly healthy venison meat in the
process.
The Shreveport-Bossier Rescue Mission (SBRM) in Louisiana has been serving specially-prepared venison, or deer meat, to hungry folks throughout the region for many years. The state's deer management program actually encourages hunters to donate their extra venison to this and other non-profit endeavors, as deer meat is high in protein, full of nutrients and best of all, clean and untainted by concentrated animal feeding operations (CAFOs).
The program has been so successful, in fact, that many state representatives routinely donate money and other resources to the deer processors that volunteer their own time and resources to prepare the meat and ensure its safety before shipping it out to local food kitchens like SBRM. What better way to salvage all that deer meat that would otherwise go to waste as a result of deer population control than to donate it to people with no other food to eat?
The Louisiana Department of Health & Hospitals (DHH), however, has a different opinion on the matter. After catching wind of the program, DHH took swift action to completely destroy it, claiming it violates state law. Even though SBRM receives absolutely no funding or support from the state, DHH basically assumed the authority to declare that serving venison to hungry people in need is off limits.
According to officials from DHH, deer meat is apparently "not permitted to be served in a shelter, restaurant or any other public eating establishment in Louisiana." So, without a second thought, the soulless agency swooped in like a vulture and demanded that the program end immediately. DHH even went so far as to declare that the 1,600 pounds of deer meat in SBRM's possession be immediately thrown into a dumpster, and have bleach poured all over it in order to ensure that nobody ate it.
"Hunters are going nuts over [this]," Richard Campbell, one of the founders of the group Hunters for the Hungry, a non-profit that has been donating wild game to shelters since 1993, is quoted as saying by Fox News. "It's created an outrage across our state and even over into Mississippi."

Deadly levels of radiation found in food 225 miles from Fukushima: Media blackout on nuclear fallout continues
(NaturalNews) New data released by Japan's Ministry of Health, Labor and
Welfare (MHLW) shows once again that the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear
disaster is far from over. Despite a complete media blackout on the
current situation, levels of Cesium-137 (Cs-137) and Cesium-134 (Cs-134)
found in produce and rice crackers located roughly 225 miles away from
Fukushima are high enough to cause residents to exceed the annual
radiation exposure limit in just a few months, or even weeks.
According to Fukushima-Diary.com, which posts up-to-date information about the Fukushima disaster, rice crackers and tangerines produced in the Shizuoka prefecture are testing high for both Cs-137 and Cs-134. Rice crackers, according to the data sheet, tested at 3.7 Becquerels per kilogram (Bq/Kg) of Cs-137, while tangerines tested at 1.46 Bq/Kg of Cs-134 and 3.14 Bq/Kg of Cs-137.
The Shizuoka prefecture is located about 80 miles southwest of Tokyo, which is highly concerning as it is actually farther away from Fukushima than Tokyo. This suggest that potentially deadly levels of radiation are still affecting large population centers across Japan, including those that are not even in close proximity to the Fukushima plant.
It is generally regarded that adult radiation workers should be exposed to no more than 50 millisieverts (mSv) of radiation per year in order to avoid serious health consequences. For children, this number is far lower, probably somewhere around 10 mSv, with this being on the high end. But the average adult and child eating these tainted foods at their current radiation levels will not only reach but exceed the safe maximum in just a few weeks.

Indian black salve: The magical cancer cure
(NaturalNews) What if we told you there exists a blend of herbs so
powerful, effective, and safe for treating cancer that no other
conventional treatment even comes close? And what if we told you this
same herbal formula only targets malignant cells while leaving healthy
cells and other tissue alone? The formula in question actually does
exist, and it is traditionally known as Indian black salve, a "magical"
cancer cure of sorts that also safely treats viruses and many other
health conditions without causing harmful side effects.
If you have never heard of Indian black salve, it is probably because the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) does not recognize it as an official cancer treatment. In fact, most medical authorities who have heard of Indian black salve reject it as any type of medical treatment because it is made from all-natural herbs that are not patented or owned by corporations, which automatically means they "do not work" in the eyes of the medical-industrial complex (even though they actually do work).
There are numerous Indian black salve blends available, and all of them contain bloodroot and several other prominent healing herbs. Lifeline Water, for instance, sells a potent, alcohol-free Indian black salve formula that contains not only bloodroot but yellow dock, licorice, galangal, zinc chloride, and Lifeline Water. You may also remember the saga of herbalist Greg Caton, who we previously reported had been illegally kidnapped and extradited from Ecuador for his involvement in producing natural cancer-cure herbal products (http://www.naturalnews.com/Greg_Caton.html). Caton's Alpha Omega Labs, which still operates out of Ecuador due to medical tyranny here in the U.S., also sells herbal products similar to Indian black salve that contain healing bloodroot: http://www.herbhealers.com/
Internally, mixing a small amount of Indian salve paste about the size of half of an English pea in water or putting it into a capsule and taking it either once or twice a day, on a full stomach, can help effectively treat and eliminate cancer in as few as 20 days. Though the company is not permitted by law to explain these healing details with customers, many have used Indian black salve successfully to treat their cancers.

The miraculous healing power of bloodroot
But in truth, Indian black salve is one of the most powerful natural cancer treatments known to man. And this is primarily due to the fact that it contains bloodroot, a potent herb native to the United States and Canada that is already recognized among many in the natural health community as being effective in the treatment of warts, moles, skin tags, cherry angiomas, and skin cancer. But as it turns out, bloodroot is also effective internally as a treatment for ovarian, breast, bladder, bone and many other cancers. How does Indian black salve work, and how should you use it?
Since mainstream medicine continues to deny the therapeutic value of Indian black salve, little is known about how it actually works. But many people have successfully used it both externally and internally to treat all types of cancer, viral infections, gastrointestinal problems, and other conditions. Topically, Indian black salve can be applied directly to malignancies for rapid healing. Lifeline Water recommends mixing three grams of Indian black salve with four ounces of natural or bee pollen cream.Internally, mixing a small amount of Indian salve paste about the size of half of an English pea in water or putting it into a capsule and taking it either once or twice a day, on a full stomach, can help effectively treat and eliminate cancer in as few as 20 days. A River Of Waste: The Hazardous Truth About Factory Farms
- The vast majority of the food produced in the United States comes from factory farms or CAFOs (concentrated animal feeding operations) that put profits above all else
- Massive rivers of waste that pollute surrounding waterways with toxic bacteria and release noxious gasses into the air commonly stem from CAFOs’ “waste lagoons”
- CAFOs serve as ideal breeding grounds for diseases ranging from influenza viruses to antibiotic-resistant superbugs, which can infect the animals, farm workers and the general public
- Like many other industries, agribusiness uses intensive lobbying, strong-arm tactics and other abuses of power to keep regulations well in their favor
- The "bigger is better" food system has reached a point where its fundamental weaknesses are becoming apparent, and it’s time for each of us to make a decision about what type of food system we’re willing to support

Why High Salt Consumption Alone Will Not Increase Your Heart Disease Risk
- New preliminary research findings suggest excessive salt consumption contributed to 2.3 million heart-related deaths worldwide in 2010; 42 percent from coronary heart disease and 41 percent from stroke
- However, previous research has NOT found strong evidence that cutting salt intake reduces the risk for heart attacks, strokes or death. In fact, salt restriction increased the risk of death in those with heart failure
- Salt is an essential nutrient required for blood pressure regulation, transportation of nutrients into and out of your cells, ion exchange, and brain-muscle communication. But all salts are not equal, in terms of their impact on your health. Processed (table) salt is health harming, while natural unprocessed salt is not only healing, but in fact essential for many biological functions
- Potassium deficiency may be more responsible for hypertension than excess sodium, and too much sodium along with too little potassium has been found to more than double your risk of death from a heart attack, compared to eating about equal amounts of both nutrients
- Our ancient ancestors consumed 16 times more potassium than sodium. Many “experts” believe that a “normal” ratio today is four times as much potassium than sodium. It is helpful to strive for at least as much potassium from your diet as sodium
- The best way to ensure you’re getting enough potassium is not to rely on the use of a supplement, but to avoid processed foods, and dramatically increase your vegetable intake. Juicing is a great way to get more vegetables into your diet

Organic rice farmer in India yields over 22 tons of crop on only two acres, proving the fraud of GMOs and Big Ag
(NaturalNews) Despite all the claims made by industry-funded hacks that
genetically-modified organisms (GMOs) and other industrial agricultural
methods are necessary for the future of humanity, it is the traditional
growing methods that continue to shine through as the real sustainers of
life. As reported by Gaia Health, Indian rice farmers using
traditional, organic growing methods are achieving yields far higher
than farmers using more modern methods.
In the case of Sumant Kumar, rice yields have surpassed the national average per hectare (about 2.5 acres) nearly ten-fold. According to reports, Kumar is currently yielding about 22.4 tons of rice per hectare, greatly surpassing that of other rice farms currently outputting roughly 2.3 tons per hectare. His secret? A traditional crop management protocol known as System of Root Intensification, or SRI.
Farmers adhering to SRI techniques will typically plant about half the number of seeds as farmers using more modern methods, and will space them out at intervals of about 10 inches. They also plant their seeds much younger, and keep the soil dryer, while paying much closer attention to weed growth. By hand-removing weeds, SRI farmers are able to allow more water and nutrients to feed their rice plants, which results in significantly higher yields.
"Farmers use less seeds, less water and less chemicals but they get more without having to invest more," says Dr. Surendra Chaurassa, agriculture minister to the region where Kumar's farm is located, as quoted by The Observer. "This is revolutionary. I did not believe it to start with, but now I think it can potentially change the way everyone farms. I would want every state to promote it. If we get 30 to 40 percent increase in yields, that is more than enough to recommend it."

Pet Tigers & Lions at Argentina’s Lujan Zoo
are clearly drugged, the zoo insists
the tameness is entirely natural, a product of raising each cub from
birth and teaching them to be calm, permissive, and uninterested in
eating humans. Since opening in 1994, there have been no reports of
unexpected predation, but whether that perfect record is due to good
training, luck, or bribery of authorities is hotly debated. Check out
this extreme petting zoo below, and remember, the Lujan Zoo is one of
the only places in the world where you can pet wild animals, an
extremely dangerous activity that you should not take lightly and should
never try outside the confines of such facilities.

wildest of wild things than Lujan Zoo in Argentina. Located just outside
Buenos Aires, Lujan Zoo provides zoogoers the opportunity to bottle
feed a bear, cuddle a tiger, or rub noses with a lion, and, if these
