High-Performance Agriculture Can Increase Your Garden Yield Eight-Fold

  • Farmers and food producers routinely harvest only about 10 to 15 percent of the inherent genetic capacity of any given crop. By optimizing soil composition and nutrient application, you can easily increase your garden yield six to eight times
  • The foundation of healthy plants boils down to two things: Adequate mineral nutrition, and strong soil biology. Compost tea and plant nutritional supplements can address both of these components, thereby maximizing plant performance
  • Addressing other environmental factors, such as increasing the organic matter in your garden soil by adding soil amendments, such as BioChar, which provides a suitable environment in which beneficial soil bacteria can flourish
  • As plant nutrition is improved, they become naturally resistant to disease and insect pests, they become hardier, and form much higher levels of medicinal compounds and essential oils. This is when food becomes medicine

Scientists invent self-healing 'terminator' polymer that could revolutionize electronics, body armor

(NaturalNews) Okay, so maybe Hollywood is really where the cutting edge of technology takes place. What moviemakers and scriptwriters dream up eventually becomes reality.

That would certainly seem to be the case in this instance: Scientists in Spain are boasting about creating the first self-healing thermoset elastomer that does not require any intervention in order to regenerate and repair itself.

But don't think of the layer of skin over Arnold Schwarzenegger's "Terminator" robot (circa 1984). Think more of the robot sent after him in Terminator II - the one that could shift forms and be transformed into molten liquid - then reform.

From the website Chemistry World:

Self-healing polymers mend themselves by reforming broken cross-linking bonds. However, the cross-linking healing mechanism usually requires an external stimulus.

Triggers to promote bond repair include energy inputs, such as heat or light, or specific environmental conditions, such as pH. Self-healing polymers that can spontaneously achieve quantitative healing in the absence of a catalyst have never been reported before, until now.

FDA deliberately deceiving Americans over arsenic in rice, chicken

(NaturalNews) There is arsenic in rice, and it's generally higher in brown rice than in white rice. Consumer Reports tested 223 samples of rice products in 2012 and found significant levels of arsenic in most of them, including inorganic arsenic (the really toxic kind).

As Consumer Reports found, it's not unusual to see arsenic at levels of 200 ppb or more in rice-based baby cereals. Click here for the complete test results.

The release of this information freaked out the U.S. rice industry, resulting in enormous pressure being put on the FDA to try to assuage fears that rice products were contaminated with arsenic (which they are).

So the FDA, always working in the interests of food corporations rather than the public, issued a statement saying that yes, there was arsenic in rice, but no, it didn't pose any "short-term" health risks.

Well, we already knew that. Otherwise people would be dropping dead from eating rice. But what the FDA totally glossed over was the long-term health risks from chronic exposure to arsenic.

That's where our real concerns are found, and that's the issue that the FDA completely ignored. The FDA's exact language on this is, "agency scientists determined that the amount of detectable arsenic is too low in the rice and rice product samples to cause any immediate or short-term adverse health effects."

Yeah, goofballs. We already knew that.

Revealed: how US and UK spy agencies defeat internet privacy and security

US and British intelligence agencies have successfully cracked much of the online encryption relied upon by hundreds of millions of people to protect the privacy of their personal data, online transactions and emails, according to top-secret documents revealed by former contractor Edward Snowden.

Egypt eyes Obama's brother for terror list

NEW YORK – President Obama’s Kenyan half-brother, Malik Obama, appears headed for the Egyptian terror watch list because of his Muslim Brotherhood ties.
Complaints have been filed with Egypt’s prosecutor-general calling for Malik to be put on Egypt’s terror watch list and brought to Egypt to be questioned by state criminal investigators for allegedly financing terrorism, according to former PLO member and native Arabic-speaker Walid Shoebat.
According to Egyptian newspaper and television reports, Malik Obama has become a target in an Egyptian government terrorist investigation because of his role as an owner and investment adviser for the Sudan-based Islamic Dawa Organization, or IDO, and the organization’s umbrella group, the Muslim Brotherhood.
Shoebat has provided the following translation of a report from an Egyptian media source, Youm 7, detailing criminal complaints filed against Malik Obama with the Egyptian attorney general and the Egyptian High Court, petitioning to put him on the terror watch list in Egypt

Natural News exclusive: Phosphoric acid used in soda pop shown dissolving teeth

(NaturalNews) Get ready for another breakthrough investigation from the Natural News Forensic Food Lab, where we've put mammalian teeth under the microscope as they are being bathed in phosphoric acid -- the same acid used in sodas and soft drinks and found in both Coca-Cola and Pepsi products.

I completed this research and microscopic videography roughly a week ago and was shocked to discover just how easily phosphoric acid destroys teeth. See the mind-blowing photos and video below for more details.

As the director of the Natural News Forensic Food Lab, I want you to know that these photos are not altered in any way. In addition, no animals were harmed or killed to make this video. The acid used in this science experiment is 85% pure phosphoric acid, the same kind of acid used in soft drinks and soda pop. Absolutely no other acids were used in this experiment. These results are reproducible in any science lab.

This forensic evidence of the damage caused to teeth by phosphoric acid will be viciously attacked by the soda industry, which has a long history of denial of scientific facts much like Big Tobacco. So if you see negative comments on this article or the video, know that those trolls are most likely being paid by corporate interests to try to obfuscate these findings and attack the messenger rather than admitting their products are directly harming the health of their own customers.

A full explanation of additional facts regarding this science experiment are published at the end of this article. See the related video at:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sg8Fn7N35-w

See the shocking photos

Here's the first photo of the teeth we used in this experiment. They were removed from the lower jaw of a wild boar found dead in the Texas outbreak. They were fully intact and had not been exposed to the elements. (Yes, I collect specimens from nature to bring back to the lab for investigations in the public interest.)

To conduct the experiment, we then bathed these teeth in phosphoric acid.

This caused an immediate chemical reaction to take place, resulting in the off-gassing you see in this photo as the phosphoric acid ate away the tooth enamel:

Here's the same tooth after the phosphoric acid reaction. As you can see, the tooth integrity is utterly destroyed:

Government agencies at all levels selling personal data to marketers

(NaturalNews) How many times have you gone to your mailbox and found it stuffed with useless junk mail? If you're like most Americans, you find that happens a lot.

One of the major reasons why as much as 60 percent of the mail we get is worthless to us - and why we tend to get more of it after major life events - is because government agencies at virtually all levels are selling your personal information to scores of direct marketers.

Per CBS4 in Denver:

Eric Meer is a small business owner who works out of his home in Denver's Stapleton neighborhood. Meer says he was deluged by direct mail after registering his small business with the Colorado Secretary of State. He says many of the ads he received were deceptive asking him to pay fees that he wasn't required to pay.

'It feels like betrayal'

Immediately Meer says he got a hunch that the Colorado Secretary of State's office sold his business info to marketing firms. The local CBS affiliate found out that his hunch was correct; last year, the Secretary of State's office raked in some $59,000 by selling business registration data.

Once again, so much for the Fourth Amendment's privacy protections. As usual, everyone except the government has to respect it.

"It feels like a betrayal," Meer said in what we believe is an understatement of epic proportions. "Because our government is supposed to protect us, not to sell our information and profit from us."
