SunCell® Generates Electricity Directly from Water Freely Available in the Humidity in the Air

The SunCell® was invented and engineered to harness the clean energy source from the reaction the hydrogen atoms of water molecules to form a non-polluting product, lower-energy state hydrogen called “Hydrino” wherein the energy release of H2O fuel is 100 times that of an equivalent amount of high-octane gasoline at an unprecedented high power density. The compact power is manifest as tens of thousands of Sun equivalents that can be directly converted to electrical output using commercial photovoltaic cells.
Applications and markets for the SunCell® extend across the global power spectrum, including thermal, stationary electrical power, motive, motive to stationary, and defense.
SunCell® power is independent from existing infrastructure:
  • grid and fuels in the case of electricity, and
  • fuels in the case of motive power
The SunCell® power source is a further game changer for all forms of transportation:
  • automobile, freight trucks, rail, marine, aviation, and aerospace
The SunCell® uses cheap, abundant, nontoxic, commodity chemicals, with no apparent long-term supply issues that might preclude commercial, high volume manufacturing.
Being greater than ten thousand times brighter than sunlight, the corresponding reduction in the area of the photovoltaic converter gives rise to a projected cost of the SunCell® of about $50 to $100/kW compared to over ten times that for conventional power sources of electricity. The absence of fuel cost for a fully distributed and mobile-capable power source, together with low capital costs that may be amortize over a projected lifetime of at least twenty years enables the generation and delivery of electricity for essentially all applications at a fraction of the cost of conventional power source, all of which have the further liability of pollution.

EM Drive is an “impossible” spacecraft engine that generates thrust from the quantum vacuum, using no moving parts and producing no exhaust

Mike Adams-

I’m a fan of physicist Richard Feynman, and one of his most memorable quotes explains that “Science is the belief in the ignorance of the experts.”
Indeed, the “experts” of science are so often wrong that it makes their arrogance laughable, and today we have yet another example of an emerging, unexplained technology that’s sending physicists back to the drawing board to rewrite the supposed “laws” of how the universe works.
The technology in question is called the EM Drive, and it’s an “impossible” spacecraft propulsion device that produces real thrust while emitting nothing (i.e. no exhaust) and having no moving parts. “The EM Drive (Electro Magnetic Drive) uses electromagnetic microwave cavities to directly convert electrical energy to thrust without the need to expel any propellant,” explains Hacked.com. “[Harold G. White, a scientist] proposes that the EM Drive’s thrust is due to virtual particles in the quantum vacuum that behave like propellant ions in magneto-hydrodynamical propulsion systems, extracting ‘fuel’ from the very fabric of space-time and eliminating the need to carry propellant.”
Invented by engineering pioneer Roger Shawyer nearly 15 years ago, the EM Drive has long been ridiculed by “mainstream” scientists in much the same way that cold fusion (Low Energy Nuclear Reactions) have also been widely ridiculed by hot fusion academics.
Yet Shawyer may have the last laugh after all. Martin Tajmar, the Director of Institute and Head of Space Systems at the Dresden University of Technology in Germany, has just reproduced the thrust measurements of the seemingly “impossible” thrust device, conducting his experiment in a vacuum that mimics the environment of space. He presented his findings at the American Institute for Aeronautics and Astronautics’ Propulsion and Energy Forum and Exposition in 2015. You can see his EM Drive talk listed in the event brochure at this link.

EMDrive appears to violate the laws of known physics… but it also appears to work

“Our measurements reveal thrusts as expected from previous claims after carefully studying thermal and electromagnetic interferences,” says the science paper. Tests were also conducted in a high vacuum: “We used this setup to test an EMDrive for the first time in high vacuum down to 4×10 -6 mbar observing similar thrusts (although at somewhat lower power levels) ruling out any air influence in this configuration.”

As the document explains, numerous experiments have already apparently confirmed the thrust operation of this “impossible” engine that appears to violate the known laws of physics:
Some years ago, Shawyer claimed to have invented yet another type of propellantless propulsion system called EMDrive that only uses onboard electrical power similar to the photon rocket, but with orders of magnitude more thrust and without the need of another satellite. If true, this could certainly revolutionize space travel.
It must be noted that Shawyers analysis and claims are highly controversial (e.g. Ref. 9) as this would obviously violate the conservation of momentum (pushing against itself) following his theory. Aside from the theoretical concept, most interesting are the experimental claims that have been published to date. Shawyer tested the
EMDrive on a balance in the upwards and downwards direction observing weight changes (=thrusts) close to his theoretical predictions using precise Q factor measurements with 16 mN using 850 W of microwave power – <b>close to 5600 times larger than expected from pure classical radiation thrust</b>. He claimed to have done checks for thermal and electromagnetic influence. Later testing was done on a torsion balance using air bearings where he observed rotation of the complete apparatus with all electronics and power supplies on-board.
Independent tests were carried out in China by Yang et al10-12 who tested the EMDrive on a force-feedback thrust stand and achieved up to 720 mN of thrust with 1000 W microwave power with even higher Q factors compared to Shawyer. Most recently, Brady et al tested the concept on a torsion balance at NASA with a (micro)N resolution obtaining thrusts of 50 (micro)N using only 20 W of RF power. The microwave electronics were mounted on the balance and power was fed using liquid metal contacts. Strong magnets were used for eddy current damping of the balance and a laser interferometer for monitoring the balance movement. Testing was quite limited (only a few test runs performed, no thruster direction reversal) and interaction with the magnetic damping during operation of the thruster was observed – however below the EMDrive thrust values. A null measurement was performed using a resistor
instead of the EMDrive.

UK media begins to report on the EM Drive

I’ve been watching this story for over a year, waiting for another laboratory confirmation of the thrust values. To my surprise, the UK media has begun to pick up on this development, too.
“The drive is capable of producing thrust several thousand times greater than a standard photon rocket and could get to Mars within 70 days or Pluto within 18 months,” reports the Telegraph. “A trip to Alpha Centauri, which would take tens of thousands of years to reach right now, could be reached in just 100 years.”
The Telegraph goes on to say:
Shawyer also claims that he is just a few months away from publishing new results confirming that his drive works in a peer reviewed journal.
However scientists still have no idea how it actually works. Nasa suggested that it could have something to do with the technology manipulating subatomic particles which constantly pop in and out of existence in empty space.
Prof Tajmer presented his findings to the 2015 American Institute for Aeronautics and Astronautics’ Propulsion and Energy Forum and Exposition this week.

Known science blown away by a breakthrough that no one understands

One of the reasons I love to cover this sort of news is because it reinforces the all-important idea that arrogant scientists aren’t fooling Mother Nature. It’s nice to see arrogant scientists humbled from time to time by new, emerging phenomena they can’t explain.
Richard Feynman understood this. He was brilliant but humble, always fascinated by the mysteries of nature. Feynman fully realized that even his own vast knowledge of physics was little more than a spec of dust compared to the realm of knowledge and yet to be explored.
Today, far too many scientists have abandoned the very idea that anything new might yet be discovered. They think they know everything already… that “science” has reached a plateau of absolute truth from which zero divergence is tolerated. But that isn’t science… it’s dogma. Real science is the practice of intentionally pursuing new knowledge even when you realize that new discoveries might render your existing “scientific” beliefs obsolete.
“New science,” as it’s often described, enters the realm of quantum physics and even the influence of the observer (intention) on outcomes in the apparent physical universe. As the research document shown above explains, “Nasa suggested that it could have something to do with the technology manipulating subatomic particles which constantly pop in and out of existence in empty space.”
Such ideas frighten conventional, old-school scientists who are terrified of real discoveries because they might threaten their sacred dogma. The idea that a device which emits nothing might produce enormous thrust that could revolutionize space travel just isn’t a concept most scientists are willing to entertain… even if it might arguably be one of human civilization’s most important inventions ever. (The implications for colonization of other worlds are staggering… this could be the technology that takes humanity from a vulnerable, single-planet species to a galactic civilization.)
For that reason alone, the EM Drive will be viciously attacked by old-school physicists and stodgy, cognitively constipated scientists. The idea that their faith-based scientific beliefs might be overwritten by new expansions in human understanding simply infuriates them. So they lash out and attack the pioneers to tear them down, suppressing the advancement of science while simultaneously protecting their “intellectual territory” and industry influence.

Why future spaceships will look more like Death Stars than X-Wing Fighters

By the way, if the EM Drive proves workable, all those sci-fi films that depict spaceships producing visible, fiery thrust will suddenly be outmoded. In the future of space travel with EM Drives, there are no visible engines. Even better, a spaceship need not have any predetermined thrust orientation, since EM Drives could be built on internal gimbals deep inside the ship and pointed in any direction to produce thrust in that direction. You don’t need to mount them on the perimeter of the ship, in other words. They can be internal. This also means spaceships do not have to “turn” to alter their direction of thrust. It also means communications gear on the outside of such craft can be permanently oriented toward Earth, making communications far easier to maintain.
As a scientist myself, I can also tell you this means such ships will be built as spherical machines in order to mount the EM Drive engines in the center of mass (for all sorts of obvious reasons involving the laws of physics). Thus, future spaceships will look more like mini Death Stars than X-Wing fighters. There is no air in space. “Wings” are not necessary. Essentially, every spaceship you’ve seen in Star Wars, Star Trek and Battlestar Galactica is completely wrong.

Massive government study concludes cell phone radiation causes brain cancer

After decades of denials and attacks by the media which called people concerned about cell phone radiation "tin foil hat-wearing conspiracy theorists," a massive, multi-year study funded by the federal government now concludes that yes, cell phone radiation causes brain cancer.

The study is published here and it's entitled, "Report of Partial Findings from the National Toxicology Program Carcinogenesis Studies of Cell Phone Radiofrequency Radiation in Hsd: Sprague Dawley SD rats (Whole Body Exposures)."

"The findings, which chronicle an unprecedented number of rodents subjected to a lifetime of electromagnetic radiation, present some of the strongest evidence to date that such exposure is associated with the formation of rare cancers in at least two cell types in the brains and hearts of rats," reports Scientific American:

The researchers found that as the thousands of rats in the new study were exposed to greater intensities of RF radiation, more of them developed rare forms of brain and heart cancer that could not be easily explained away, exhibiting a direct dose-response relationship. Some of the rats had glioma -- a tumor of the glial cells in the brain -- or schwannoma of the heart. Furthering concern about the findings: In prior epidemiological studies of humans and cell phone exposure, both types of tumors have also cropped up as associations. In contrast, none of the control rats -- those not exposed to the radiation -- developed such tumors.

Consumer Reports also authored this story published on Yahoo Finance, which states, "The tumors found were gliomas (in the brain), and schwannomas (of the heart)." That same story goes on to report:

[T]he current study, which found the same types of tumors in rats that the earlier epidemiological research found in humans, was a controlled clinical trial; it was specifically designed to simulate the exposures of cell phone users, and all of the important parameters were tightly controlled and carefully monitored. Rats and mice were exposed to the same kinds of radiation used in cell phones, for roughly nine hours each day, spread over the course of the day.

Another government cover-up shattered

In other words, the cell phone industry can no longer claim it's "bad science." This is rigorous science, and it shows a clear, dose-related causative link between exposure to cell phone radiation and the development of brain and heart tumors.

For decades, the government has actively conspired with industry to downplay any evidence linking cell phones to cancer. We see this across the federal government, of course, with the EPA downplaying the risks of pesticides, the FDA downplaying the risks of pharmaceuticals, the CDC downplaying the risks of vaccines and the USDA downplaying the risks of genetically engineered crops. The entire federal government as it operates today is little more than the science propaganda and marketing arm of private industry. (Corporate-government collusion, by the way, is better known as economic Fascism.)

In all this, the role of the government-controlled media has long been to ridicule anyone who questions the official science propaganda on all these topics. Think cell phones cause cancer? You're a kook. Worried about fluoride in the tap water? You're a nut case. Concerned about mercury in vaccines? You're an anti-science quack, we're told.

Except that now the truth is being exposed on all these fronts. Now, even the government's own study shows that cell phone radiation causes cancerous tumors of the brain and heart. At the same time, independent science is increasingly exposing the harm of mercury in vaccines, GM crop chemicals like glyphosate, toxic pharmaceuticals and the mass fluoride poisoning of the water supply. On all these issues, Natural News has always been right! (... and the establishment has always been in denial of reality.)

The CDC, for its conspiratorial part, yanked warnings about cell phone radiation from its website. (It's the Ministry of Truth, you see, and preventing the public from learning the truth is always the CDC's No. 1 priority...)

As Consumer Reports says in its story:

The results of this large, long-term study could dramatically shift the national debate over cell phone safety. The NTP's website says that the results may be used by the Food and Drug Administration and the FTC in determining how best to protect consumers from the potential harms of radiation that comes from cell phones.

The CDC might also consider reinstating the cautions it pulled from its web site. (We've reached out to the agency for comment, and will update our story once we hear back from them).

Likewise, the cell phone industry may have to alter its stance. The wireless association trade group CTIA has maintained that cell phones are completely safe, and has fought to block San Francisco from passing laws that would require electronics retailers to notify consumers about the proper handling of cell phones.

Femtosecond lasers weld neurons back together

Intact neuronal cells consisting of soma (the main cell body), dendrites (structures that branch off the soma), and the axon (a long extension from the cell body that connects to other soma, dendrites, or axons) process and transfer information via electrical impulses and chemical signals. Of course, when these neuronal pathways are disrupted, communication is broken, causing the muscles normally innervated by these synaptic pathways to atrophy and/or die.
Until now, it was not possible to reconnect neuronal tissue. But thanks to ongoing applications development for ultrafast lasers, researchers at the University of Alberta (Edmonton, AB, Canada) have used a near-infrared femtosecond laser with 1.7 (± 0.08) × 1012 W/cm2 intensity and ± 0.5 μm aiming accuracy to perform "hemifusion" of healthy soma and axons. Through ultrafast multiphoton and avalanche ionization processes, the laser pulses induce molecular rearrangement of the phospholipid bilayers, allowing photo-induced ions and electrons to cross over to the central nonpolar region of the phospholipid bilayer and break the bonds of the fatty acid tails, after which the ionized phospholipid molecules seek an equilibrium state and form new bonds with nearby ions. This cross-linking process forms a strong, shared phospholipid bilayer or hemifused membrane-an important implication for potential studies into neuronal regeneration and repair. Reference: N. Katchinskiy et al., Sci. Rep., 6, 20529 (Feb. 5, 2016).

Leaked Documents Show FBI, DEA, & Army Can Control Your Computer

Carey Wedler
July 7, 2015
(ANTIMEDIA) Leaked emails from an Italian-based hacking company reveal that government agencies engage in surveillance more invasive than previously thought, spending millions of dollars on spyware and malware software to accomplish their questionable goals. Tellingly, their use of the product places them squarely in the same category as other repressive regimes around the world.
After hackers ironically hacked Hacking Team, a Milan-based company that sells strictly to governments, hundreds of gigabytes of emails and financial records were leaked. The emails show that the FBI, DEA, and U.S. Army all purchased software that enables them to view suspects’ photos, emails, listen to and record their conversations, and activate the cameras on their computers, among other things.
While this may seem like old news, the most controversial revelation was the government’s purchases of “Remote Control Systems.” The FBI, DEA, and U.S. Army, courtesy of Hacking Team, possess the capability to take control of a suspect’s computer screen. The technology is so invasive that even the DEA, known for its violative surveillance policies, had reservations about purchasing it.
According to documents obtained by The Intercept, an internal request to purchase RCS was denied by DEA management in 2011 because it was “too controversial.” By 2012, however, the DEA had resolved its concerns, likely spending a similar amount to the $773,226.64 (plus thousands in maintenance fees) the FBI invested in its own set of software.
Hacking Team was so committed to business with these American agencies that it concocted codenames to refer to them. As The Intercept summarizes,
Hacking Team refers to its U.S. clients by code names. The FBI unit is ‘Phoebe’…the DEA is ‘Katie,’  and the CIA, which appears to have sampled, but not bought Remote Control System, is ‘Marianne.’”
Hacking Team has been sharply criticized for its sale of RCS to oppressive regimes around the world. From Sudan to Bahrain, Hacking Team seeks business opportunities with rulers that target political activists, journalists, and political opponents—putting the American government agencies that employ the same technology—and often have the same objectives— in questionable company.
Aside from RCS, one of the more contentious revelations is the company’s hard sell that it can bypass encryption, a capability the FBI has openly desired since phone companies made encryption a default setting last year. According to one company newsletter, Hacking Team offers “technologies to ACCESS THE DATA…IN CLEARTEXT, BEFORE it gets encrypted by the device and sent to the network and AFTER it is received from the network and decrypted by the device itself. Actually, THIS IS precisely WHAT WE DO.
The FBI did seek warrants to use Hacking Team technology in a handful of cases, but apparently uses a different platform for “critical” investigations. What the FBI really wanted from the Italian firm, according to leaked emails, was “more ability to go after users of Tor, the anonymizing web browser.” Such users accounted for 60% of the FBI’s use of Hacking Team products.
Regardless of how the technology is used, the FBI has encountered skepticism from lawmakers. Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, asked the director of the FBI for “more specific information about the FBI’s current use of spyware,” in order for the Senate Judiciary Committee to investigate “serious privacy concerns.
In spite of these legitimate concerns, the technology is permeating other levels of government. Largely because of aggressive marketing by Hacking Team, District Attorney offices around the country are eager to use the software. From San Bernadino to Manhattan, government lawyers have expressed strong interest in using the company’s products for investigations, suggesting a dangerous permeation of unconstitutional surveillance into an already decaying justice system.
Whether or not the government agencies who have purchased the software use it extensively or not is, at this point, irrelevant. That such bureaus and government officials have so much as the desire to use it–in some cases, in spite of a clear understanding of its controversial nature—is cause enough for concern.
Meanwhile, Hacking Team has remained ambivalent. Company spokesperson Eric Rabe said, “we do not disclose the names or locations of our clients” and “we cannot comment on the validity of documents purportedly from our company.”
More telling of the company’s rationalization of perpetuating authoritarianism in the name of profit, however, is a quote from Giancarlo Russo, the company’s chief operating officer. In a 2013 email, he wrote,
If you buy a Ferrari… they can teach you how to drive. They cannot grant you will be the winner of the race…If Beretta sell [sic] you a gun, the most peculiar and sophisticated one, they can teach how to use it. They can not grant you are going to shoot your target properly on the field.
Editor’s note: An earlier version of this article referred to Hacking Team as “Hacking Tools.” The error has since been corrected.

Scientists Unveil Genetically Modified Insects with ‘Kill Switch’ Genes

Biotechnologists at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) have developed a ‘kill-switch’ for genetically modified insects. It is meant to assist corporations in controlling genetically modified organisms set free in the wild. But just the same as with all other GM creations, this has yet to be risk-assessed, and is already being heralded as the next ‘terrific scientific development.’
Researchers say that what once was science-fiction is now a reality. Utilizing a gene-editing technology, scientists have developed a way to delete entire strains of DNA instead of just editing them. At first glance, this would seem advantageous. If an insect was let loose in the wild, such as the millions of GM mosquitoes developed by Oxitec to be released in Brazil and Florida which are meant to control dengue fever (you can see a Youtube about the GM mosquitoes near the bottom of this article), humans could simply develop a ‘kill switch’ that would stop the GM mosquitoes from propagating.
However, it has already been shown that GM mosquitoes will likely interbreed with the non-GM mosquitoes. If the GM insects are developed with the ‘kill-switch,’ what will happen to the non-GM mosquitoes that have interbred with them? And more importantly, what will happen to other organisms that are infected with the ‘kill-switch’ technology inadvertently?

LA Times: Scientists Now Editing Human Embryonic DNA To Play God

It's a scenario that has haunted biologists since the dawn of the DNA age: the evil scientist custom-crafting a human being with test tubes and Petri dishes.
So when a Chinese team revealed last month that it had used a new laboratory technique to alter a gene in human embryos, it set off an urgent debate over the ethics — and wisdom — of tinkering with the most basic building blocks of life.
The technology makes genetic manipulations that were theoretical in the past seem easy to achieve — and soon.
If scientists figure out how to do it in a way that's safe for patients, gene editing could produce tremendously beneficial medical treatments. The Chinese researchers, for instance, were trying to repair a defect that causes beta thalassemia, a potentially fatal blood disorder.
But a simple way to alter DNA could open the door to more frightening eugenic pursuits. That makes people nervous.

Innovation Decentralization and the Structure of Grassroots, Open-Source Revolutions

As most Natural News readers know by now, we're less than two weeks away from the launch of the Food Rising grow system technology that produces food without electricity, at very little cost, with almost no effort. (www.FoodRising.org)

I've put countless hours into designing the 3D parts for this system, and huge dollars into testing 3D printers to test print designs that the public can reliably reproduce. This has been a resource-intensive project from the start, but it's well worth it, and in this white paper I attempt to explain why.

The conventional wisdom of modern business says that I should patent these innovations, monopolize them and attempt to maximize the financial profit from them while denying others the right to reproduce these ideas. That's how the traditional corporate business system works, after all: maximize profits, prevent competitors from having your technology and even seek to prevent competitors from introducing similar products. You see it all the time in Big Pharma, where billion-dollar pharma companies actually pay generic drug producers millions of dollars to delay the introduction of lower-priced generic drugs.

But that model of greed only denies humanity the innovations really needed to uplift human civilization and create a better future.

That's why I believe inventors and entrepreneurs like myself need to find more opportunities to give back to the world by sharing our innovations openly and freely. While there's nothing wrong with making an honest profit selling honest products in a competitive free market, sometimes we have to take a leap of faith and just give away great ideas for the benefit of humanity.

How giving away great ideas benefits everyone

That's exactly what I'm doing with the Food Rising grow system technology. The 3D printable parts I've painstakingly developed -- some of them have over 100 revisions and prototypes -- will be posted on www.FoodRising.org where anyone can download them for free.

Far from trying to prevent people from copying these ideas, I am urging others to copy, share and improve these ideas, all while encouraging them to also share their own ideas freely with the world. We'll even be posting user-submitted object files on FoodRising.org so that great ideas can be shared with an ever-expanding audience.

At the same time all this is launched, I'll also be launching the DIY videos that show you how to make your own Food Rising grow systems using common items found at any hardware store. These instructional videos are also freely provided with the intention of sharing great innovations with people who can add to those ideas with their own revisions, innovations or add-ons.

Simultaneously, we will offer pre-made grow systems as an option for those who wish to purchase ready-to-go systems. Importantly, the first 250 of these systems we're manufacturing are getting donated out to schools across America so that children can experience the joy of learning how to grow their own food (which also teaches them food self-reliance, seed saving and more).

Beyond those 250 systems, the next batch of systems we manufacture will be offered for sale to those who want them for whatever reason (they don't want to make their own, they don't have the skills to make their own, they're in a hurry to get started, etc). But my first priority is to teach you how to make your own systems at home, using your own tools and know-how.

Real revolutions supersede mere profit motives

Why would I do such a thing? Because this is not about capturing profits. This is about launching a food revolution for the world. Chasing profits for their own sake is a fool's errand, but chasing the dream of inspiring a whole new generation of children to learn how to grow food is, as they say, "priceless."

I don't want to live in a world where every person and corporation is consumed with their own personal gain. That path has already led to far too much suffering in our world, thanks to oil companies polluting our oceans, pharmaceutical companies poisoning our bodies and big agricultural giants poisoning our food with pesticides, herbicides and GMOs. A path of total greed pursued to the exclusion of all else is a path of total destruction. Those individuals who have been blessed with financial abundance through innovation, ethical business operations or even from just inheriting wealth have a special obligation, I believe, to find ways to direct at least a portion of those resources into projects that might inspire a better future for all humankind.

This does not mean, by the way, just writing checks to wealthy non-profits like the American Cancer Society. For many non-profits, all you're doing is funding the large salaries of their executives or supporting their hidden corporate agendas. (My own work at the non-profit Consumer Wellness Center, by the way, is purely volunteer. I don't earn a dime for the effort.) So pick your projects wisely. I believe it's better to take a hands-on approach where you are directing your resources to people or projects in a way that you can monitor for efficiency and integrity.

For example, in our own donations of Food Rising grow systems to schools across America, I'm personally overseeing the manufacturing and production of the grow systems. I built the very first prototypes myself and refined the geometry that works best. I programmed the CNC machines that make the precision cuts as part of the manufacturing process. I personally lab-tested the plant food nutrient formulas on our ICP-MS lab instrumentation and made specific improvements to the mineral concentrations in order to deliver vastly increased nutrition. I'll be overseeing the shipping out of the donations to U.S. schools, and I hope to get an opportunity to visit some of these schools in person and see these grow systems in action.

There is no replacement for being there in person, watching your efforts being translated into real experiences for real people.

The corporate greed model is unsustainable for our world

I have nothing at all against an honest entrepreneur or corporation making an honest living while operating within ethical boundaries, but it seems that the larger the corporations become, the more readily they abandon ethics in the name of profits.

As a result, the corporate model of endless greed being practiced today is simply not sustainable for our world. Consider just some of the massive global problems caused by corporate greed:

* Mass deforestation promoted by corporate agriculture.

* Near-wipeout of many ocean food species due to endless overfishing.

* Widespread chemical contamination of the world's waterways caused by pharmaceutical manufacturing.

* The routine killing of cancer patients with deadly chemotherapy treatments that were obsolete decades ago (but are still profitable).

* A global food supply nearly devoid of mineral nutrition, transformed into dead "factory foods" and heavily contaminated with synthetic chemicals for added shelf life.

And then you've got other issues that fall into a whole different category of greed that actually crosses the line into violating basic human rights:

* Monsanto's war on farmers and the GMO contamination of our world's food crops.

* Nestle's attempts to monopolize the world's water supplies and force people in developing nations to buy their water from wealthy globalist corporations. Nestle is also the same evil corporation that once attacked breastfeeding and tried to brainwash women in developing nations to feed their infants processed food formula instead of breast milk.

* The war industry's endless staging of global conflict to justify its own existence.

These are the results of runaway greed, and humanity is worse off because of it. Personally, I think the greed-driven corporate model of our global economy is coming to an end.

The end of the greed paradigm

I have a knack for seeing things way ahead of time. I called the dot-com crash in 1998. I called the housing bubble crash several years later, and in 2013 I called the Bitcoin crash less than 24 hours before it took place in the Spring of that year.

In 1999 I predicted the fall of the "dinosaur media" and the rise of the decentralized, alternative media we see thriving today. At the time, of course, the mainstream media called me crazy and kept churning out propaganda stories with news anchors like the serial liar Brian Williams, thinking their media hegemony would never be challenged. Today, we know the mainstream media is on a death march, and all the really informed people are reading alternative, independent news sites like TruthRevolt.org, Ben Shapiro's wildly successful conservative news site (Shapiro is one of the sharpest young minds in America today).

It's no secret that I see a global economic crash coming. But the global economic crash is not merely about a milestone economic event taking place that will harm the financial interests of billions of people; it's also about what I see as a systemic failure of the very model of centralized corporate greed.

A global economic collapse will have the result of reverting economic activity back to a local level. While you won't see an end to multinational corporations, of course, you will see a strong rise of local agriculture, local manufacturing and local barter systems.

When you read the word "local," think "decentralization." The localization of economies is essentially the decentralization of economic entities. For example, local farmers' markets are a decentralized version of corporate-run agriculture.

Decentralization is good. Centralization, on the other hand, is usually bad. This is true whether we're talking about economic power, political power or even legislative power. When economic, legislative and political decisions are made locally, they are more in tune with the local needs of the people. They tend to be more just and egalitarian.

Decentralization creates redundancy and security

Decentralization also means redundancy and security. For example, food security is high in a nation where a large percentage of the population grows food in home gardens or small farms. Food security is low in a nation -- such as America -- where food is produced by corporate entities that control and dominate the food distribution supply lines.

Centralized systems suffer from risks of single points of failure. Decentralized systems are redundant precisely because they are "failsafe" in their very structure. One or more nodes of a decentralized system can fail while the other nodes continue to function. The TCP/IP protocol on the internet is an example of a fail-resistant decentralized redundant system. It was originally designed to survive a nuclear attack while data kept flowing through the available nodes.

Seed security -- i.e. "seed diversity" -- is also high when there are hundreds of small seed companies producing seeds. But seed diversity gets crushed under the monopolistic tendencies of corporations like DuPont, Syngenta and Monsanto, all of which have bought up and consolidated literally hundreds of seed companies over the last few years. This has caused a dangerous loss in the diversity of the available seed supply. You could even call it a "crop eugenics" program because it has wiped out many genetic strains of heritage plants which are not "desirable" by the biotech corporate giants.

I not only believe in the power of grassroots, open source, decentralized revolutions for humanity; I am working to practice and demonstrate these principles in my own work.

How I'm helping support the decentralization, grassroots revolution for humanity

It's not enough to be a so-called "Egghead libertarian," where people sit around and academically debate what policies work best. It's important that people like myself who have the resources and capabilities engage in practical action that sets an example of what we believe in.

I believe the future of free currency is peer-to-peer crypto currency. It may not be Bitcoin, but Bitcoin helped set the stage for free currencies that cannot be manipulated by the criminal central banks. Similarly, I believe the future of innovation will come more and more from independent inventors like myself, rather than from institutional research organizations such as universities or corporations.

I also believe that real revolutions happen from the ground up, grassroots style, and that the "top down" government domination system of our world has run out of ideas. Now, governments are running on little more than debt fumes and delusional fairytale promises they can never keep. The global debt Ponzi scheme will, of course, eventually unravel, causing global financial chaos and demonstrating yet again the outright incompetence of centralized control systems that try to exercise domineering control over free people.

Giving away great ideas, where possible, creates a better world for everyone

The future of innovation requires nothing more than smart people making the decision to give away great ideas in the interest of contributing to a better world. And I intend to be one small part of that effort, joining a long list of others who have already done this in the world of open source operating system development (Linux), open source software (such as the Cura slicer for 3D printers), and even the RepRap 3D printer movement itself, now embraced by open source printer companies like Lulzbot.

The future is open source. The future is grassroots innovation from the bottom up. The future consists of people like me gathering money from honest, ethical business practices (such as the Natural News Store) and redirecting those funds into amazing projects (such as the building of our Forensic Food Lab, which launched a wave of new awareness about heavy metals in many superfoods). It is this lab effort that caused the organic protein industry to clean up its act and produce cleaner products.

Money is a tool for funding innovation that can benefit humanity

The future will be led by people who think of money as a tool to be deployed, not as a goal to be hoarded. Corporations that are more interested in their share prices than treating their customers with basic human dignity are headed for extinction.

I've often said "the most expensive vehicle I own is a tractor," and it's true. I look at money as a tool for discovery or innovation. That's why I have directed large purchases in the past year toward laboratory equipment (new equipment has arrived and is coming online soon!), manufacturing automation equipment and the 3D print farm I'm now operating in Texas.

Like many inventors, I've been ahead of the curve on identifying many important trends over the last couple of decades. I wrote the very first ethical email marketing software application in 1993 and used it to grow a multi-million-dollar company that counted a large percentage of the Fortune 500 as its customers. A decade later, I played a significant role in the health food revolution that now sees organic foods, non-GMO foods and superfoods in high demand almost everywhere. Now, I see additive manufacturing -- 3D printing -- as a revolutionary new technology that will inevitably reshape the geopolitical and economic landscape of our world.

Think about it: 3D printing is local. It's decentralized. It's difficult for corrupt governments to censor. It also has the power to dramatically improve the quality of life for people everywhere when used for the right applications (such as food self-reliance).

I am so convinced of the power of 3D printing to promote freedom and liberty in our world that I have seriously considered launching a 3D printing news website and resigning as Natural News editor to focus on 3D printing full time. This is the next revolution, and it's a field where technical inventors like myself have a wide open field of opportunities that are rich for exploration. That's why I'm applying this technology to food production systems right now; I already have four additional key inventions on the drawing board to be released in 2015. Each of these inventions can also be 3D printed.

Join me in launching the next great revolution for humanity

I want to urge you to think about everything I've shared here and imagine ways you can share your own ideas and innovations with the world in a decentralized, open source fashion.

I fully realize that revenues are challenging for all of us, and I'm not saying you should give everything away and earn nothing. Obviously, you need a revenue stream to support your goodwill projects, and ethical business practices deserve to be rewarded with honest profits. What I am saying is that once you have some discretionary income or profits, find ways to redirect a portion of those funds into open source, grassroots, decentralized projects that benefit others.

The truth is, you have unique gifts to offer the world. Sometimes the best way to share those gifts is to give them away for free. In fact, my own work on the Food Rising grow systems is based on the discoveries of other such as University of Hawaii professor Bernard Kratky. He taught hundreds of people the principles of "non-circulating hydroponics" (see his research paper here), allowing people like me to learn from those concepts and enhance them with modern-day 3D printing automation technology.

I don't want to live in a world ruled by the 1%

The bottom line in all this? I don't want to live in a world where the wealthiest 1% rule the other 99%. That's the world we have today, unfortunately, and it's a far cry from the abundance, health and happiness we could be achieving if ideas, economies and power were more decentralized. (It's actually more like the 0.0001% ruling everybody else, as most wealth has been heavily concentrated into the hands of just a few globalist families.)

I support technologies, innovations and ideas that empower the 99% to uplift themselves and substantially improve the quality of their lives. That's what the Food Rising grow systems are all about (www.FoodRising.org), and this is also what open source software is about, too.

I'm not talking about welfare for the 99%. Endless welfare is a disaster, and almost every welfare state in the world today is headed for certain bankruptcy (Greece, anyone?). I'm talking about empowering the 99% with solutions they can use to help themselves. Solutions like learning more food self-reliance, for example, so that people everywhere can grow a larger percentage of their own diets and stop relying on government food stamps to purchase processed corporate crap disguised as food.

Instead of giving inner city poor people food stamps to buy genetically modified Doritos, we should be giving them Food Rising grow systems and teaching them how to grow a significant portion of their own food. I'm not holding my breath, of course, waiting for the government to give me some sort of grant to accomplish that. Instead, I've announced an effort to raise the money through private means, enabling us to give away 250 Food Rising grow systems to schools across America.

When we empower the 99%, we make the world a freer, happier and healthier place for everybody.

That's my goal here at Natural News, and that's why I've spent countless hours over the last several months preparing to give away all these innovations for free. It is a calculated strategy to try to help create the world I hope to one day see unfold, where inspired individuals are empowered while evil corporations are made increasingly obsolete. The way to defeat evil corporations like Monsanto is not to confront them, but to make them irrelevant.

If you'd like to help me create this better world, simply subscribe to the email announcement list at www.FoodRising.org , then prepare to help spread the word on the innovations we release to the world for free.

Toyota To Launch Hydrogen Fuel Cell Powered Car in 2015

There are futuristic-looking cars, then there are cars that are actually futuristic. The 2016 Toyota Mirai is definitely one of the latter, soon to take its place in history as the first car to bring hydrogen fuel-cell technology to the masses — something you can buy, keep and pass on to your kids when you get old, who by then, will laugh at the idea that at one point, someone thought it was futuristic.
But for now, the Mirai is the future — literally: the name means “future” in Japanese — and Toyota hopes that it will follow in the treads of the successful Prius (whose name means “predecessor” in Latin, incidentally). And this so-called future will become the present starting in the third quarter of 2015.
Like the Prius, the Mirai is not an overtly beautiful creature (yes, that’s some understatement) but it was styled quite deliberately to break the mold. “It’s no secret that when we launched Prius, we decided that making it look different than any other car on the road was a risk worth taking,” said Satoshi Ogiso, Managing Officer of Toyota Motor Corporation. “Prius styling was distinctive then and still is today. We think Mirai will be as well. If the name of your car means ‘the future,’ it had better look futuristic.”
Still, the Mirai has a face only an aerodynamicist could love. A clone of the FCV Concept that Toyota trotted around to auto shows in 2013, the Mirai is roughly the same size as the Camry Hybrid, with 2.5 inches more height and an aerodynamic underbody that’s an inch closer to the ground. Like the FCV Concept, the Mirai has gaping triangular outboard air intakes, vertical turn signals, “floating” hood and roof panels and four menacing-looking LED headlamps on each side.

Ultraviolet light robot kills Ebola in two minutes

While vaccine makers and drug companies are rushing to bring medical interventions to the market that might address the Ebola pandemic, there's already a technology available right now that can kill Ebola in just two minutes in hospitals, quarantine centers, commercial offices and even public schools.

It's called the Xenex Germ-Zapping Robot, and it was invented by a team of Texas doctors whose company is based on San Antonio. (And no, I didn't get paid to write this. I'm covering this because this technology appears to be a viable lifesaving invention.)

The Xenex Germ-Zapping Robot uses pulsed xenon-generated UV light to achieve what the company calls "the advanced environmental cleaning of healthcare facilities." Because ultraviolet light destroys the integrity of the RNA that viruses are made of, it renders viruses "dead." (Viruses aren't really alive in the first place, technically speaking, so the correct term is "nonviable.")

Ebola, just like most other viruses, are quickly destroyed by UV light. That's why Ebola likes to spread in dark places where sunlight doesn't reach. (Think of Ebola as a "vampire" virus that feeds off human blood but shuns sunlight...) The Xenex robot destroys Ebola on surfaces in just two minutes, zapping them with a specific wavelength of UV light at concentrations that are 25,000 times higher than natural sunlight.

Kill Ebola with electricity and UV light; no toxic chemicals needed

The reason I'm covering this medical technology is because I'm seriously impressed with the concept and the green technology behind it. The Xenex unit generates UV light using xenon -- one of the noble gases -- rather than toxic mercury. So there's no toxic mercury to deal with, even when disposing of the equipment after its useful life.

So many of the approaches to disinfection in hospitals today are based on harsh, toxic chemicals that pose a secondary risk to the health of hospital patients and staff. But UV light emitted by the Xenex robot leaves no chemical residue whatsoever and requires no chemical manufacturing plant to manufacture. This is truly "light medicine" because it disinfects using specific frequencies of light.

Studies touted by the manufacturer appear to show extraordinary disinfection results spanning both bacterial superbugs and viral strains:

- 57% reduction in MRSA at Moses Cone

- 53% reduction in C.diff infections at Cooley Dickenson

- 50% reduction in bacterial contamination at Cambridge Health Alliance

- 30% reduction in C.diff at the MD Anderson Cancer Center

- 62% reduction in microbial load at the St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center

Already in 250 hospitals and growing...

The Xenex UV robot is already being used in about 250 hospitals. That number is likely to increase dramatically due to the current global Ebola outbreak.

The base price of the Xenex unit is around $100,000, and the unit pays for itself very quickly by preventing expensive infections. It can disinfect a typical hospital room in about 10 minutes, and it comes with organization and scheduling software that allows hospital staff to keep track of which rooms have been treated.

Indoor vegetable farm produces nutrient-dense produce 250 percent faster than outdoor farms, with less waste

(NaturalNews) The future of food production could end up doing away with the growing fields and even the sun. A Japanese plant physiologist has developed an indoor growing system that he says produces lettuce 250 percent faster than traditional farms, requires far less water and generates significantly less produce waste.

Using LED technology developed by the GE corporation, Shigeharu Shimamura was able to create a 25,000 square foot indoor space that currently houses 18 cultivation racks for growing lettuce. These racks are 15 stories high and contain a total of 17,500 LED lights specially designed for the optimal growing of lettuce.

The proprietary lighting system mimics the day and night cycle of the real outdoors, but at a highly accelerated pace. Together with carefully controlled climate and moisture conditions, Shimamura and GE were able to fine-tune a complex system that generates large amounts of healthy food very quickly, without producing significant amounts of waste.

"I knew how to grow good vegetables biologically and I wanted to integrate that knowledge with hardware to make things happen," he explained to GE Reports.

Indoor produce farm generating 10,000 heads of lettuce daily

Having gotten the idea from a "vegetable factory" that was featured at the Expo '85 world's fair in Tsukuba when he was just a teenager, Shimamura had ever since been inspired to start his own indoor growing facility. And after the Fukushima disaster of 2011, he finally got his chance.

According to GE Reports, Shimamura was able to turn a former Sony Corporation semiconductor factory in eastern Japan's Miyagi Prefecture, which was damaged by the earthquake and tsunami, into the world's largest indoor growing farm. And today, this farm produces an astounding 10,000 heads of lettuce daily, with an average loss of only 10 percent of the harvest.

A typical outdoor produce farm, on the other hand, loses up to 50 percent of its harvest, representing a 400 percent reduction in waste. Beyond this, the specialized temperature and humidity conditions inside the farm require just 1 percent of the total amount of water typically required for outdoor growing operations.

All these tweaks have created ideal growing conditions that Shimamura says have resulted in a 100-fold increase in productivity. This means 100 times more food can be grown in the relatively small indoor space he created compared to outdoor grow operations, which are still threatened by residual radiation contamination.

"What we need to do is not just [set] up more days and nights," he stated. "We want to achieve the best combination of photosynthesis during the day and breathing at night by controlling the lighting and the environment."

'BPA-free' baby bottles are loaded with other estrogen mimickers

(NaturalNews) Baby bottles from AVENT, Born Free, Green to Grow, Evenflo and Weil Baby all emit high or very high levels of hormone-altering chemicals, says new research published in the peer-reviewed journal Environmental Health. (1)

"Many PC-replacement-products made from acrylic, polystyrene, polyethersulfone, and Tritan resins leached chemicals with [estrogenic activity], including products made for use by babies. Exposure to various forms of UV radiation often increased the leaching of chemicals with estrogenic activity," write the study authors.

The conclusion of the study will send shockwaves across the baby products industry, stunning many parents who thought "BPA-free" meant "free from all hormone-disrupting chemicals."

The study authors write:

Many BPA-free PC- replacement products still leached chemicals having significant levels of estrogenic activity, as did BPA-containing PC counterparts they were meant to replace. That is, BPA-free did not mean [free from estrogenic activity].

Scientists invent self-healing 'terminator' polymer that could revolutionize electronics, body armor

(NaturalNews) Okay, so maybe Hollywood is really where the cutting edge of technology takes place. What moviemakers and scriptwriters dream up eventually becomes reality.

That would certainly seem to be the case in this instance: Scientists in Spain are boasting about creating the first self-healing thermoset elastomer that does not require any intervention in order to regenerate and repair itself.

But don't think of the layer of skin over Arnold Schwarzenegger's "Terminator" robot (circa 1984). Think more of the robot sent after him in Terminator II - the one that could shift forms and be transformed into molten liquid - then reform.

From the website Chemistry World:

Self-healing polymers mend themselves by reforming broken cross-linking bonds. However, the cross-linking healing mechanism usually requires an external stimulus.

Triggers to promote bond repair include energy inputs, such as heat or light, or specific environmental conditions, such as pH. Self-healing polymers that can spontaneously achieve quantitative healing in the absence of a catalyst have never been reported before, until now.

Free energy breakthrough? Holy grail of water splitting technology now achieved with sunlight, mirrors and seawater

(NaturalNews) A team of scientists at the University of Colorado, Boulder, have achieved what appears to be the "holy grail" of water splitting technology for the production and storage of clean, abundant energy. Because sunlight is free, I'm calling this "free energy."

To understand this breakthrough, it's important to first understand why solar power has so many limitations. Solar is great when the sun is shining, but storing solar power require the deployment of a large array of heavy, expensive and toxic electrical storage devices known as "deep cycle batteries." To put it in street terms, deep cycle battery technology sucks. The batteries suck, the chemicals suck, the weight sucks and the cost sucks. There is absolutely nothing to like about batteries unless you enjoy hulking around with heavy, useless objects.

So the "holy grail" of solar power has always been finding a way to store solar energy that's portable, dense and relatively lightweight. Until now, that discovery has been elusive.

But now a team of scientists in Boulder, Colorado say they have come up with "a radically new technique that uses the power of sunlight to efficiently split water into its components of hydrogen and oxygen, paving the way for the broad use of hydrogen as a clean, green fuel."

Sunlight, mirrors and a reaction chamber

The system works by exploiting a large array of ground mirrors to focus sunlight onto a tall reaction tower. There, the intense heat (2,500 degrees Fahrenheit) powers a reaction chamber containing metal oxides. The heat drives oxygen atoms off the metal oxides, causing them to "soak up" the oxygen from steam vapor introduced into the chamber. Steam vapor is, of course, made of water (H2O), so stealing the oxygen atoms from water leaves hydrogen gas that can then be collected.

In effect, the tower uses sunlight to split water into hydrogen gas and oxygen gas. The hydrogen gas is then collected, purified and pumped into high-pressure hydrogen containers which, pound for pound, are extremely dense "batteries" of energy that far out-perform chemical batteries.

Better yet, hydrogen gas then holds all this energy with 100% efficiency, losing no potential whatsoever, even if stored for decades. From an environmental perspective, hydrogen is also a super clean-burning fuel, producing no carbon dioxide emissions or particulate matter. (The reason hydrogen does not produce CO2 when combusted is because it does not contain carbon, obviously. CO2 production requires a carbon-based source of fuel such as hydrocarbons -- coal, gasoline, diesel, etc.)

Scientists create human liver from stem cells

LONDON (Reuters) - Scientists have for the first time created a functional human liver from stem cells derived from skin and blood and say their success points to a future where much-needed livers and other transplant organs could be made in a laboratory.
While it may take another 10 years before lab-grown livers could be used to treat patients, the Japanese scientists say they now have important proof of concept that paves the way for more ambitious organ-growing experiments.
"The promise of an off-the-shelf liver seems much closer than one could hope even a year ago," said Dusko Illic, a stem cell expert at King's College London who was not directly involved in the research but praised its success.
He said however that while the technique looks "very promising" and represents a huge step forward, "there is much unknown and it will take years before it could be applied in regenerative medicine."

Skynet rising: Google acquires 512-qubit quantum computer

(NaturalNews) Most people don't know about the existence of quantum computers. Almost no one understands how they work, but theories include bizarre-sounding explanations like, "they reach into alternate universes to derive the correct answers to highly complex computational problems."

Quantum computers are not made of simple transistors and logic gates like the CPU on your PC. They don't even function in ways that seem rational to a typical computing engineer. Almost magically, quantum computers take logarithmic problems and transform them into "flat" computations whose answers seem to appear from an alternate dimension.

For example, a mathematical problem that might have 2 to the power of n possible solutions -- where n is a large number like 1024 -- might take a traditional computer longer than the age of the universe to solve. A quantum computer, on the other hand, might solve the same problem in mere minutes because it quite literally operates across multiple dimensions simultaneously.

The ultimate code breakers

If you know anything about encryption, you probably also realize that quantum computers are the secret KEY to unlocking all encrypted files. As I wrote about last year here on Natural News, once quantum computers go into widespread use by the NSA, the CIA, Google, etc., there will be no more secrets kept from the government. All your files -- even encrypted files -- will be easily opened and read.

Until now, most people believed this day was far away. Quantum computing is an "impractical pipe dream," we've been told by scowling scientists and "flat Earth" computer engineers. "It's not possible to build a 512-qubit quantum computer that actually works," they insisted.

Don't tell that to Eric Ladizinsky, co-founder and chief scientist of a company called D-Wave. Because Ladizinsky's team has already built a 512-qubit quantum computer. And they're already selling them to wealthy corporations, too.

Futuristic High-Speed Tube Travel Could Take You From New York to Los Angeles in 45 Minutes

Traveling across the country or the world via any modern mode of transportation is a time-consuming affair. It can also be really annoying with the long lines, crying babies, armrest hogs, cramped space, etc. Would it not be the most awesome invention ever if some new type of transportation could cut that travel time significantly?
Get ready, because it may only be a few years from becoming a reality. A company called ET3 has plans in the works for the Evacuated Tube Transport, a high-speed transportation tube that uses magnetic levitation. The ETT can travel at speeds of up to 4,000 miles per hour, and each tube seats a maximum of six people and comes with a baggage compartment. How does it go so fast? It's airless and frictionless and could have you from New York to Los Angeles in 45 minutes, as opposed to the nearly five hours a direct flight would take. It could even have you depart from New York and be in Beijing in two hours.

NASA awards grant for 3-D food printer; could it end world hunger?

Call it food for thought. Or perhaps thought for food: NASA has given a six-month grant to a company developing what could be the world’s first 3-D food printer. And the project’s developer, reports Quartz, an online digital news site, believes the invention could be used to end world hunger.
Quartz explains that the printer is the brainchild of mechanical engineer Anjan Contractor. Being developed by Contractor’s company, Systems & Materials Research Corp., it will use proteins, carbohydrates and sugars to create edible food products.
Contractor says one of his primary motivations is a belief that food will become exponentially more expensive in the near future. The average consumer, he told Quartz, will need a more economically viable option.
Some alternative food source options that may be used with the printer include algae, duckweed, grass, lupine seeds, beet leaves and even insects, according to TNO Research, which is working with Contractor on the project.
“I think, and many economists think, that current food systems can’t supply 12 billion people sufficiently,” said Contractor. “So we eventually have to change our perception of what we see as food.”
